Thanks for writing this, it solved our problems -- does exactly what it says.

ARTIO JoomSEF
The good and the bad, September 10, 2007
1 of 2 people find this review helpful:

ARTIO JoomSEF The good news is that the new 2.1.1 version fixes most of the ills (and issues I had) with the previous 1.x versions, including multiple URLs, www. vs no www. in the URLs going to different places, etc.

The bad news is that trying to upgrade my 1.x install to 2.1.1 completely blew up and forced me to completely ruin my SEF URL database and subsequently have to uninstall 1.x, fresh install 2.1.1, and re-enter all SEF URLs and customizations by hand.

At the end of that, we're happy with the new version. The extra work due to the failed upgrade wasn't so fun, however.

Google Analytics Bridge
We converted to PHP4 to get it to work, September 6, 2007

Google Analytics Bridge We followed every step here and the Mambot still did not work for us, even with a properly configured PHP5.2.3 install. So, we re-wrote it to PHP4 and it is now working.

I've shared the modified code we created with the developer via info (at) holyfieldstudios.com (since their joomla (at) holyfieldstudios.com email bounces, and I can't post HTML here) for anyone else experiencing these problems -- hopefully he will post this alternate PHP4 version on his site. I realize that PHP4 is nearing EOL, but many of us still have to live with it.. and PHP5 was not a solution here, at least in our case.

Thanks to the developer for writing this, and hopefully this modded PHP4 version will make the bot more useful for a greater array of people.
