I have installed, used and generally dealt with nearly 100 or more components and the support associated with them. The folks at Dioscouri absolutely amaze me with their support and willingness to make the end user happy. While support form most components it spotty at best - even those that are paid for, Dioscouri responds timely and professionally.
This is a much called for database syncing component that actually works and is very reasonably priced. The Joomla forums are loaded with requests for such a feature. Hey folks, if you are making money with your site, support the authors!
Installation of the component and plugins was easy. Their instructions were simple and straight-forward and the component does exactly what the authors claim and more.
Syncing jos_user tables across multiple Joomla! domains ( ours are presently all on one server, so your mileage may vary) is now hands-off, and several sync-trigger options are included for specific needs. This component has finally released us all from the tedium of manual database syncs.
All configuration happens in the control panel - no config file to manually edit. The component can use the joomla db log-in or it's own db log-in, so you can create a user account just for Sync, and authorize it only for the jos_user tables for added security.
For busy sites, the admin can limit DB load by hour/day/week/etc.
The only caveat I could find: Sync only supports the jos_user table synchronization by default. Additional tables can, however, be synced by the use of the custom query option. Unless db query commands are in your skill-set, syncing additional tables could be troublesome. This can easily be overcome by the user with a little learning.

Player 4 MP3
    Works Great!, December 12, 2007 |

This module is about as no-frills as they come. Just a play, pause, and restart buttons. Auto starts with page load. The backend is in German, so you may need to google a translation.
The module config allows a change of mp3 title, but not a choice of file names. You either rename your file to the default, or hack the modules PHP to include use your filename. An easy hack, but I don't quite understand why this was not added to the back-end. The default filename is lied1.mp3 which in German is "song1.mp3", but "lied" has the unfortunate English meaning of being untruthful. For my intended use, this would not be ideal should the filename get sniffed out by the end user.
Otherwise, the module works as intended and was a perfect fit to my no-frills requirements for this site.
Had the filename been accessible in the back-end, I would have rated this 5 stars.
