Does what it says on the tin.

Really simple and effective and a must for any community site. Installed really easily and worked as soon as it was published.

One small criticism, and this does not detract from my rating or from what this module does. All of the images I have seen so far are of inanimate objects rather than people, caricatures, emblems, etc.

I know this may infringe on copyright etc, but it may be worth exploring with a few of the free avatar sites there are out their on the market.

Just a thought.

What can I say. I was looking for the ultimate profile experience, and had already installed JSpaces (a must for any serious community site) before I stumbled across this.

There were several js and mootools conflicts that prevented this extension from working properly.

I am very happy to say that Eric took on board the issues and spent some time in coming up with a resolution. I now have a fantastic user profile experience topped off with this great extension.

Product and support has been excellent.

Ok, so I've tried this module and on the face of it it's really quite a simple but good idea for any site with a social profile link.

Here comes the tricky bit. I've tried contacting the provider through the website contact three times, but have had no response, and seeing as there is no other means of contact then I shall have to ask the question here.

I don't see how the Facebook profile link is supposed to work ? For example if you click on the one on the authors website it takes you to your own profile and not the link.

I've tried adding in my own profile ID for face book, although the numeric ID does not seem to work. I have also tried to link to a facebook group, again this does not appear to work correctly.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Other than this the other profile links that I have set-up seem to work ok.

OK, so had a couple of issues with the different messenger icons not showing me as online. Mailed the author and got a response instantly. Turns out it's not the plugin, it's the individual security settings within the different messenger types.

Have now used this against MSN, Skype, Yahoo and Google talk without any issues.

All I would say is try a few onlinestatus.org servers until you get one that shows your icons correctly - as one or two reported incorrect statuses for me.

Over all it does what it says. What would be nice is for a way to allow this plugin to have more security settings i.e. allowing the user to set who he wants to see his contact information (over and above the general profile settings) i.e. allow connected users , and stealth settings like other CB plugins. If anyone can do this that would be great.

We needed a quick solution for our site, and it doesn't get much quicker, or better for that fact, than this module.

This is so simple it's unreal. Works a treat and all parameters that we changed did actually apply (unlike other modules) without errors.

I think too many people have over looked this module.

It really does add that little bit extra to the rsgallery2 component, and encourages community spirit !

Installed and worked out of the box... thank you for this addition.

May be for a future release actually include a thumbnail of the image as well. Just a thought.

Easy to install, very professional looking and does what it says on the tin. Possibly the best 'invite' module I've seen yet.

I've given this component an average purely on the idea.

There is no support forum for this so unfortunately I'll post my issue here.

I'm running J1.0.13 & CB 1.1. When I publish the module it creates the tab, but the page loads with errors in windows and I get a 'Error: partscollect[0] has no properties
Source File' error.

When you select the 'share videos tab' nothing happens.

I have had to uninstall this module for now, but will come back to it again when its more stable.

Great idea though....

This is an exceptional component for any budding community site. Installation of the beta 1.6 with Joomla 1.0.13 and CB1.1 was a breeze.

A good set of modules and of course the obligatory CB profile tab are also evident with this component.

This is the best asset so far to my community site, I thoroughly recommend it.

I cannot thank the developer enough for his help and communication in getting this component to me whilst he is experiencing site issues.

All mails were replied to in a timely manner. The component installed straight out of the box and is easy to use. I can see the benefits of this for my community site and look forward to using it.

I would and have suggested however that this component should work automatically, or indeed have a frontend option for site admins that I do not grant backend access to. I think however automatic mails would suffice.

I hope this gets adopted for the next release.
