JCal Client/JCal Pro (event calendar for Joomla)
 Beautiful v1.5.2, March 19, 2007

JCal Client/JCal Pro (event calendar for Joomla) version 1.5.2 seems to have done the trick.
Front-end and back-end event management. Well thought out recurring event management (simpler than Jevents but did the trick for me). And of course we have the lovely looking calendar. Mods work well too- latest events is of course a necessity and easy to setup. I like the way the view categories is setup (my default view).
Clean and efficient.. 5 stars from me.

Looking forward to:
An event registration functionality (integrated to CB of course :-))

DGM Login Module I'm not actually using the joomla mod_login for my site but another mod and it was easy enough to adapt Denys^mod ...

Code looks clean and output is well design...
All I have now is the login||register... and it looks cool

Well done

So useful :-)
I've used it to show javascripts, banners, logos, external apps and links.... A great little "Swiss Army knife"...
5 stars

JPortfolio
Interesting concept but..., October 5, 2006

JPortfolio I am wondering if an image gallery would not be any better...
Jportfolio lacks auto Thumbnail for larger images and has no directional menus ( a back button wouldn't go a miss). I think this component would be better if AJAX driven.
If this was a 0.x release I'd give it a 4.8 for effort but as a RC it is a bit lightweight compared to other components.

 Very Handy, September 25, 2006

Light... easy setup, looks very good. Good idea :-)

Jomres v3 Booking Management System
Good support & and fair use of Trial, September 18, 2006

Jomres v3 Booking Management System So my host won't allow me to have IonCube Loaders installed so I can only run jomres on my local WAMP (works so good)...
But what a nice guy Vince is... Pretty much instant support through his ticketing system. The time limited trial proposed by Vince is also the fairest way to try out quality components and in turn to support commercial products by buying them when 100% (it surely avoids dissapointed customers).

JoomlaMindmap
 Looks good, August 30, 2006

JoomlaMindmap Just to comment on the previous post: Yuppie may be German but has give me INSTANT support in English, before writing a comment do think and ask...

JoomapMindmap works well, support for 3rd Party SEF is missing but should not deter you from testing it. I am sure that Yuppie will come up with a solution soon.

Ajax Floats
Good module now need a bot, June 9, 2006

Ajax Floats Great start and looks good by keeping it simple.
Would love to see a bot developped now, so that I can create linked and tagged floats....

Related Items Bot and Module XTD
 Nice one, May 25, 2006

I was looking for a simple bot to manage related items.
The bot options are carefully considered (search content, cat, sections, weblinks etc) and the output layout is simple and clean. It has also made me consider using metadata properly (which I guess can only be a positive aspect).
