AkoBook+
Good Plugin - Bad Spam!, September 23, 2006

AkoBook+ I love this guestbook, but the spam won't stop rolling in! Today I disabled guestbook entries from the Akobook control panel and I got three more spam entries within an hour! It looks like the spammers are totally skipping over the entry form and submitting directly to the database. I suspect that if I rename Akobook's PHP files I may be able to stop the spam.

Jom Comment
Does exactly what we needed!, September 22, 2006

Jom Comment I'm running Jom Comment standard on one website and Jom Comment Pro on a second site... Easy install and it works very well! I think the Pro version is worth the extra money especially if you have multiple authors.

Can't wait for the comments to start rolling in!

StopPress Content Module
Works Well - With One Possible Minor Glitch, May 25, 2006
2 of 2 people find this review helpful:

StopPress Content Module It took me a while before I realized that I needed the content ID# of the text I wanted to appear in the window but when I added it it worked like a charm!

I only ran into one oddity. On Firefox 1.5.0.3 For Macintosh OSX the StopPressContent box appeared just fine.... Because my text was longer than the box there was a scrollbar, no problem, but when I closed the window the scrollbar stayed! I'm not sure if otheres have experienced this... I fixed it by making my window longer.
