Components Lab Support Center Helpdesk I bought this component because of the ability to customize the ticket forms. I have a number of fairly sophisticated ticket driven processes and this feature was critical.

The component installed easily and while the documentation wasn't the best, I still figured it out. Unfortunately, there are a number of serious bugs that make the customizable features unusable. What is more frustrating is that, as other reviewers wrote below, the support is pretty much non-existent, quite an irony for a company that builds support desk software.

Even more frustrating is that I paid 300+ Euro for an upgrade and they have yet to deliver release the software to me. I'm beginning to wonder how "real" this company is based on my experience and the experience of the other reviewers.

This is all terribly unfortunate. Were the component to work as described and their support sufficient, I would give this component an Excellent rating. As it stands, however, anyone looking for something more advanced than a simple ticket system should keep looking.

XHTMLSuite I have been looking for a truly cross-platform editor for my users, most of with limited technical skill. Despite their limited technical skills, they are very demanding sales people that expect the best. I tried all the others and each had their own issues. Either they were difficult to use or didn't work on their browser.

XHTMLSuite is an order of magnitude better than all the others. The image handling alone is worth the modest price. Plus, the support from the company is excellent. They worked with me patiently to resolve a silly mistake on my part.

I would recommend this tool to anyone looking for a commercial grade editor for users needing professional functionality.

I was blown away when I installed this. I was dubious that it would work at all. But then browsed my site with my Black Berry and it was like magic. There was my site... shrunk down to a low calorie version. Very nice work.

Jom Comment I tried a number of commenting extensions but this is the only one that installed cleanly and integrated seamlessly. The functionality has greatly enhanced the power of my site. Furthermore, this company's support is second to none.

My Blog I examined a number of blogging capabilities for my users, many of whom are very new to the idea of blogging. The component itself is solid with a very elegant tagging system that enables bloggers to tag their entries with a number of tags versus a single category. This creates a very dynamic, fluid exchange of ideas that are easy to surf.

I would give this component an excellent score except that I ran in to a few minor bugs. However, the technical support provided by the company is stellar. They resolved the issues quickly and professionally.

I highly recommend also procuring the Jom Comment component from this same company. MyBlog and Jom Comment integrate nicely plus Jom Comment is a solid component in its own rite.
