Install as module.
Position and Publish it.
Descriptions:
Small Flash Mp3 Player with *.xml file configuration.
5 color option for MP3 PLayer : Orange,Aqua,Green,Grey and Yellow.
Configurations:
1.Upload your mp3 files to "modules/mod_mp3_files/" directory.
2.All song definitions are found in the file "modules/mod_mp3_files/radio.xml".
o You will not hear any music until you redefine this file (radio.xml).
3.Open the xml file radio.xml .
Example:


Song Title.
Performer Name
filename.mp3

4.Now you should be able to execute from the web site.

Dissapointment. No mention of how to obtain the popup plugin. No popup config anywhere within the module.

Pros: Install fine. Make sure you downlaod the mod and the mambot/plugin. Install mod and then the plugin to get the little yellow lock/SSL looking login icon. Attractive and saves you some space on your site.

Cons:Whish had a REGISTRATION link. Okay have login and password right but no forgot register new user account. That link is disabled/striked through. Not sure why.

Install it easy and no matter what I type in 0, -10, 10 the counter doesn't increase from 0 or from 10. Had to un-install it. It look cool though:-) but sorry.

Note: Copy and modify a little form the previous user comments. Hope they don’t mind in the name of helping others.

Latest release as of November 2007 is 1.3.5. Download both com and mod.

INSTALL com_ and mod_ as usual.
Thanks to other posters for clarifying the installations and configuration.
The component is only good if you are going to create a menu pointing to the component (news feed). It is easier to point a menu to a component, tahts’ why the component for.
“-the feed (and I am talking about the rss/url to the feed) has to be previously defined in the basic feeder (I am using the original com_newsfeeds loaded with joomla).” Meaning define category and items under Components àNews FeedsàManage Category and then manage News Feeds.
Automatically these feeds will appear in nf_scroller_XT.
-the MODULE CONFIGURATION:
--model class suffix: leave it empty, this is too much for me and I didn't need it
--source: I could not make it work for "all- this work for me" but this wasn't my intent, you can also choose "cat" (for category--) or "single", I chose "single"
--Breaks Chars: Yes
CATEGORY NAME: yes
FEED NAME: yes
The rest of the options I set it to: no. These are all optional to you and the real estate you have to work with.
The alignment and height and width are all explanatory.
--align: the text inside the feed (any will do)
--behavior: if you chose up or down in the direction, choose scroll here, if left or right, choose slide.
--height: simple: how high will the module be
--wight: 100% to fit in the module.

I highly recommend it, it gives a little professional touch to the Joomla News Feed.

Install it as module, publish it, enter your paypal email account (already created), few straight forward configuration under the module. Publish it. That's it. If time permit customize the mod_paypal.php file for borders, text that appers next to the pay pal button and etc. Else not needed. Send or make a donation/payments/subscriptions whatever you want to use the module for via pay pal existing email account or using credit card in increments of $5.00...that can also be modified via the above php file. That's it....it works. Great modle.
