Don't get me wrong. I think the eweather concept, layout, features and display are among the best in category, but version 1.1 was originally released March, 2006 and does not appear to have been updated since. That makes it hard to claim new extension status. I long ago noted in the Joomla.org forum that the daily views links in the 5 and 10 day forecast calendars do not work with register globals set to off. I have never received a direct response on the matter from the author despite numerous contact attempts. Fix this bug and your application's perfect.

Thanks. That link provides ALL the answers. I'd recommend incorporating the severe weather alert and daily forecast links in the forum posts into an updated release. The waxing gibbous moon icon also appears to contain a small error you might want to correct. With these changes, my rating would rise to 7 on a 5 point scale. Great job!

Like what's there. Would like it even better if the option to open the reporting service's site in a new window was there, and the unneccessary, redundant prompt to add html code to display the same image wasn't there.

Nice work. Looks and functions great. The application would really sing if you could now incorporate some type of search function. Once the table list grows long, scrolling becomes tedious.

Excited by the prospect of putting this much needed app through its paces, but current release and source forge lacks any setup/configuration documentation. In my case, installation has repeatedly returned "template unavailable" errors on several 1.0.12 server installations. Guidance for users, please!

Undeniably useful and easy to configure, but the function loses utility as the sort list grows. A search function of some type would dramatically enhance the value of this component.

While much needed, this extension will only run with particular versions of Zend optimizer installed. If you can't control it yourself, or your hosting service won't modify their installed version, such as Siteground, you're out of luck. The demo version appears to have disappeared from the developer's web site, so demo testing is precluded.

Nice program with plenty of applications that works flawlessly in Internet Explorer. Strangely, Firefox refuses to recognize this bot when run in a substantive number of templates, especially those with javascript includes. The moving "moshowhead" tip works for some, not for others. Remember to check yours in Firefox as part of your testing process.

Regrettably, I noted that the individual forecast links of this very nice module no longer work when RG emulation is set to off in global.php. Don't see this note reflected on any site at this time.

Innovative extension with lots of potential applications, but in my case, the dropdown items won't close in IE6 or Firefox using the Joomlashack Simplicity template.
