Mamblog
    It works, April 25, 2008 |

It seems many reviews here actually boil down to support, as the Mamblog works fine. At least for me.
The first time around it didn't work, and the support site was down etc.
So, after a few months away from it, I decided to dig in, and see what can be fixed from the backend.
To start with, it was up and running in a few hours.
The comment system says that it wants AkoComment or a few others.
Which was annoying, but, no problem, I just went to the Comment system of JoomlaComment, and activated it for the Mamblog... and YES, it works!
I just don't understand that there has obviously gone a lot of work into this, so why has it entered into an abandoned zone?

ADJR - Disable Joomla Registration
Amazing!, April 24, 2008 |

I have spent tonnes of time and in the end a fair amount of money, so that my registration system works through a SMS Payment system, that verifies age etc.
This for me was necessary as I run an adult site.
I had forced the CB registration etc, as I was pointed out, ages ago, so this pasting of the link never occured to me!
But then I read this, just by chance, and BANG, it bypassed my registration system totally!
This simple bot fixed the trick in a second.
THANKS!

Acajoom News
    Acajoom, November 7, 2007 |
Great functions etc, but you know that.
The problem I had, which led me to deleting it, was that it was creating a stack load of PhpErrors on the Server.
Ok, I am running a 2003 Server etc, so sure, that might be the trouble.
But, that's what I got, and I am not getting rid of the Server to get a Newsletter.
So, anyone know of a Newsletter that works on 2003?
...yes, I have tried most of them already.
