ARTIO JoomSEF
Been using this but beware!!!!, December 24, 2007

ARTIO JoomSEF Hey Guys,

I have been using JoomSEF for almost 1 year. Here are some things I like and some things that I think are not cool at all...

Pros:
-Free Version and Pro Version
-Easy install
-Easy setup/config
-Good Documentation

Cons:
-SPAM/Advertisements are hidden in the FREE version without letting end users know. I feel this is wrong on so many levels. At least give us a banner warning before downloading or installing onto our sites.
-Support is terrible

Those are just a few of many more. Should this be allowed by Joomla standards (the SPAM)?

WysiwygPro 3, advanced WYSIWYG editor
 PERFECT!!, June 2, 2006

WysiwygPro 3, advanced WYSIWYG editor I had some strange bugs that happened using JCE on many sites. It just seemed to be unstable. So I bought this for a friends site and it just worked perfectly. I think I will need to purchase some additional copies for some other sites soon. This is a small price to pay for something that will save you the headache of trying to screw with the JCE Admin configs and getting it to be more stable with Joomla.

Nice Work Chris!!!

Expose Flash Gallery
PHP Backend manager..., April 12, 2006

Expose Flash Gallery Well here is the issues I have seen with the backend manager not working...

1. The current backend manager has very strict system requirements is any of them are not met it will simply not work. See the component install for the requirements or my site gotgtek.com.

2. PHP5 is currently not support yet because of the way DOMXML is handled now. So we have a new package that is going to be released for PHP5 users only very soon.

3. For the smaller resolution folk We have just released the smaller edition of expose (instead of 900px it is 545px). Should fit in your site a little easier. But keep in mind the viewing area is smaller. (eventually we will release 3 flavors of sizes, 600px, 800px and 1024px) more to come soon.
