Protos LightBox Plugin
 Simple plugin, February 11, 2008
2 of 2 people find this review helpful:

Protos LightBox Plugin Finally I found I was expected for a long time. I was tested on Joomla! 1.5 stable. Really easy installation and implementation.

Just few things might be improved: no way to have portrait and landscape thumbnails in one installation - proportions will be lost. I would like the ability to wrap text around the thumbnail also.

Anyway, this is a Great job!

Joomla! M17n (Multilingualization)
It really woks!, November 25, 2007

It really simple and easy to install. It was that I search for a while. It takes 15 minutes to get first result.

Althouth this is first multilingual package for Joomla! 1.5 I ever found, this makes the job well.

Same time it needs some improvement in backend and frontend:
1. After first install it takes time to find language flags picture files are taken from. After I put proper gif files to my template directory, all languages get the same flag to all of them. I fixed it modifying mod_M17n.php file. I would suppose to extend Module menu in backend with possibility to choose proper language order and corresponding language flags or phrases.

2. Frontend works as expected, with one exclusion - it forces to main menu while choosing another language. This is annoyng in pages with big and deep structure.

3. And last - language flags (or phrases, when occurs in future, maybe) needs to change colour or semething other while being active. (Imagine what happens now, if you touch language flag beeing deep in menu? I played this on my testing environment :( ).

Thank you for the great job and expecting for fixing some tnings described here.
