TurtuShout
 Ok and getting better, April 17, 2008

TurtuShout I had been waiting to find a 1.5 shout box since last November when I first started learning Joomla and started with 1.5

I have installed it and had some errors and problems, but they were all addressed after I posted in the forum for TurtuShout.

No it does not have smilies, but these are not essential for the shout box to work and it allows users of my site to communicate with each other.

I have just re-installed and it still has a few iss-sues, but it is working and I am happy.

Well done ksu on building it and I have high hopes for improvement in the future.

Plugin for YouTube Videos Thank you for this plugin - has worked first time and every time.

You may need to explain how to get the You Tube ID for any given video for very newbies.

You Tube gives you all this code to embed:



In this example the 1YwvUpz6A6c is the ID.

{youtube}1YwvUpz6A6c{/youtube} is what goes in your article (after you have installed the plugin that is)

FlippingBook Joomla Gallery component This component is mis-behaving. The component tools works but not using the icons, and I cannot delete files using page manager. My test book will not work - all .jpg files. I put in more than 6, but now cannot delete the extra pages!
