sh404SEF
 A Must Have, August 1, 2008

sh404SEF I have waited to comment on this component for some time now because I wanted to test it over a period of time. I have used this on many sites now and all I can say is why wouldn't you use it???

It not only works great but is being actively developed. On an earlier version that was installed on one of my clients sites (this was a long time ago) there were some issues with the sef url's slowing down their site. This would completely fix itself if all the sef url's were purged. Then I noticed there were fake url's somehow being submitted and cached. Well, that very week a new version of sh404SEF was released that had new security features that dealt with these issues.

The newer versions that I have installed on sites have worked great .... no complaints. And there are so many great additional features that you can delve into if you have the time.

This component works great out of the box with very little set up. Great step by step instructions for different ways that you can configure this component are available as well.

Great Job!!!

JoomlaTinyFCK (JTF)
Great for my clients sites, January 23, 2008

JoomlaTinyFCK (JTF) This editor makes inserting images into content so much easier for my clients than the mosimage method and the creator has well documented ways to simply remove the images tab to avoid confusion for users using the frontend interface of the website for adding or editing content.

The editor just works well all around and I like how it allows individual users to add folders and upload images right within their content by browsing the files on their computer while not allowing them to delete anything which keeps the sites other resources secure.

This is one of the first things I install on a site and I make it the default editor for my users. I have not encountered any bugs with it and have it in operation on many sites.

The only features not present that I would love are the ability to upload files (such as a text file) and also the ability to delete only from within a users defined folder and only access over that folder. Ok .... yeah I a getting into other advanced features that probably dont belong in a simple editor :)

I have no complaints. Great Job!
