I am running over 20 online communities and websites using Joomla 1.5RC2 with Community Builder. I registered with Joomla.org just so I could post a comment about this extension (says alot).

I'm glad to say that mXcomment v1.0.6 works perfectly with my communities.

Pros:
-It installed quickly and with no errors.
-The backend is amazing and provides for easy access and navigation to the extensions' configuration.
-It is highly configurable and requires no programming knowledge (for those of you new to this).
-Easily templated and also worked with some of the latest YooTheme and RocketTheme templates.
-Looks very nice and smooth with no "ugly" code.


Cons:
- Doesn't provide the ability to import bad word lists from text files or csv. This sucks because that means I have to add each word individually. Do you know how many bad words are out there? This should be available with the next release.

- I may have overlooked this. But there doesn't seem to be a way to have comments shown automatically. By default it minimizes comments and requires a viewer to un-minimize to view a comment. For websites that receive hundreds of comments a day to a single article, this can become someone of a pain. I wouldn't mind seeing this as an option in future realeses.

Overall:

I am glad that I found this extension. It's now been rolled out to all my production servers and I haven't experienced one error. That's better than almost any other Joomla extension I've dealt with. I would highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a sound comments extension.

I am unable to provide a review about customer support for this product. As I haven't had any issues, I have had no need to contact support. And I'm not complaining!!!
