Mod HTML - Google Adsense Module
Fast and easy to use!, March 9, 2008
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

I was using another module for AdSense but it just didn't give me the relevant ads I needed for my game-based site. Plus, Google didn't recognize the ad code as being used, so I didn't get any benefits from the ad.

After doing several searches and trying other modules, this one worked out the best (and gave me the most relevant ads available!).

I would recommend this module to anyone looking to implement Google AdSense into their Joomla site!

Easy eXtended Gallery
Fantastic, easy-to-use gallery posting system, February 2, 2008

Easy eXtended Gallery Tried several other image systems, but this module was the only one that provided full control over how content was to be displayed, and made it exceptionally easy to post several galleries in less than 10 minutes. It even does automatic thumbnailing, and has several different display options (Slimbox, Lightbox etc.)

Two problems though, with easy fixes:

1. It has problems reading certain JPG files (shows several errors on the page when this happens - once I re-saved them with Irfanview everything was fine).

2. The Slimbox would appear "below" my menu (which had drop-downs and was CSS-based). Turns out the root cause is the lack of z-index setting (which is supposed to keep the Slimbox on top of all other content on the page).

You can read on how to do the fix here:
