Would like to see it developed though, as Joomla! would benefit from a bot such as this.

It really is great for someone such as myself with limited CSS knowledge - if you're happy enough to configure it's features then it'll do a great job for you!

Two points: there are differences between IE7 and FF2, but that's life! Also, I would like to be able to configure the text size for the xtypo_quotes, is that possible and if not, is there any reason why this cannot be implemented?

But the author was brilliant with his support - quick and helpful - and we've established that it's an Ajax clash and that when 2Joomla release their upcoming AjaxTabs extension those two should work together perfectly.

I had a few problems to begin with (mine, not the extensions), mainly as I wasn't linking images to articles in the content and not using {mosimage} in the introtext. But once I'd played about with it, it looks great! I've got five tabs - one for each category in our news section and it really does the business for me! This is a local J1.0.15 and I'm hoping it's now working fine for J1.5.x because that's what we'll most likely use in the actual development. Emails to the author bounced back though - I wonder if that's been fixed now?! Anyway - thanks for a great component.

I thought that there would be a plethora of free tooltip extensions out there, but from what I've seen so far, this isn't the case?!? Anyway, I tried this one, it installed easily but there are two problems: first, there is a black box around the tooltip and second, I couldn't get this working without an A HREF link tag and I only wanted a little tooltip to pop up over certain bits of text that didn't link anywhere!

I did email the developer, but unfortunately didn't get a reply as this could have been just what I'm looking for.

I finally got this going... after a few problems and lots of scanning of the forums... what I had was a common problem and a 'sticky' could easily have been created! The problem was that any users could add/delete events from the frontend (i.e. the Authority system wasn't working). JCal Pro has been fine on some servers (most, I suspect) and not on others, but I'm not sure if a fix is released. But their suggestion (found in a forum post) worked.

Some documentation would have been appreciated - once you've read the forums and got it going, well, yes, hindsight it s wonderful thing and it's straightforward enough. But a few simple instructions aren't too hard to write.

Still - once going - it's great!

Really cool and really simple to install and just does exactly what you would want. I've not yet tried any of the more advanced functionality (doing routes), but for a basic Google map on your webpage, it's perfect!

Don't make the mistake I did: copying and pasting the lat/lon coordinates into JCE put some HTML tags in there too and I didn't realise until I checked the HTML...

Does exactly what it says on the tin! There is a post below somewhere that said it didn't create the thumbnails, but I've not had that problem at all!

It's sensible to put your images into categories and then refer to them using the category ID (a number!) which caught me out for a while. But the support is excellent and we got it going extremely quickly!
