I installed JooBB 6 weeks ago and so far have not encounterd any problems. Setup and install was smooth. Configuration was a bit challenging. It took me awhile to figure out the forum layout and how to make it work for me.

My site's needs are fairly basic and JooBBs default color set up worked ok with the site. Actually it looks pretty good.

Appears to be a neat tool to use to quickly manage your files and do quick and dirty editing on files.

The minute I installed it I noticed two things:
1. It reads back from my base webroot, not just the folder I have joomla installed on. I have not found a way to limit it to just my joomla root directory.

2. I immediatly began having the Admin session time out issue.

For me it is easier to simply edit and upload via FTP. I have uninstalled the component and do not intend to use it again.

It provides most of the features I require.

I especially like the ability for user to upload a corresponding image or file with the form.

Provided what I needed for download management Low cost, good product.
