flickr4j
 Good... but.., June 2, 2007
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

flickr4j Had wonderful success with this entire package up until my provider went to PHP 5.2.1.

At which point, everything within the com_flickr functionality crashed and I can't rebuild it (including doing a version upgrade on the phpFlickr code as well)

The edition of phpFlickr included in flick4j isn't PHP 5.x compliant and since this project (flick4j) isn't being updated or revised, I've hit a major brickwall. That said, if you upgrade the phpFlickr version inside it, you're halfway to making it work with PHP 5.2.1 and above.

Simple, effective and easy to install.

Extended Menu
Great work by Daniel, February 6, 2007

Daniel has created a stable, well thought out package for designers with the Extended Menu system. Apart from the obvious usability and accessibility benefits that this menu system brings, it is a breeze to set up and customise.

calDate
Nice design.. with a few nuances, January 19, 2007

calDate Works perfectly on the standard J! install date structures. Has a few issues with stuff like the a8e fork and other designer/accessibility projects though.

Letterman Newsletter Component
One of the easiest newsletter packages around, March 10, 2006

Letterman Newsletter Component This is one of the easiest, well built and well designed newsletter packages that I have worked with. I've seen similar packages inside commercial proprietary software not work with the simple, intuitive nature that Soeren has created.
