VirtueMart Advanced Search This extension is a good start. The first thing I saw, it has no search according to parameters functionality.

My wish for VM is to have a powerful filtering system, a plugin that appears in the browse category page, and cand filter products accordin to multiple parameters.

Smartsef URL rewriting for Joomla 1.5 (RC 1.0) Pros:
Firts of all it's free!
Indeed it works better than all others in Joomla 1.5. Pagination works, it installs with no problems, it gives all articles, sections and categories a unique URL, no matter what kind of layout you use (blog, table) for sections/categories and no matter where is the link that point to! UNIQUE and Very fast. Really SMART, ha?

Cons:
It does not translate Joomla variables in the default (set by user) Joomla language.
It gives 404 pages on virtuemart at checkout, or when you add to cart an item, pagination, ordering products.

I wish to know:
Is this project alive?

Joomla 1.5 SEO Patch I've installed this patch, and I was hoping it will not destroy my instalation, because I already configured a 3RD party component that seem to work, even with VirtueMart 1.1.
BUT, no improvement.

JFusion -> Universal User Integration This comp comes with a great idea of user universal integration. It must have full suport for joomla 1.0x in the future so I'm lookin forward.
