Query Cache - RC 2
This is awesome!, October 4, 2007

I have tried this out with APC, and it truly does wonders on your CPU load by _vastly_ decreasing the queries to the MySQL database. Mind it is still in a beta stage and not ready for production use, but when it is, I think it will do wonders for a lot of Joomla users with the ability to install APC, Xcache or Memserve on their server(s).

MjazTools Uploader for DOCman
 Wonderful tool!, January 24, 2007

MjazTools Uploader for DOCman Tried out this component today, and I must say it works wonderfully with the template Mjaz has provided earlier. One feature I would suggest however is that the component/template overides the default uploading/editing interface in the same way as the default submit interface is overridden. This would make it so much nicer when editing or updating files.

Thickbox+ for Joomla
 Very nice!, January 23, 2007

Just tried out your demo page and was amazed how smooth everything worked with the thickbox library. And showing inline content like that is just wonderful. And then it hit me: What if you could show modules in the same manner, wouldn't that be awesome?! Imagine for example if you could get rid of the more than often ugly login module on the left of the page and instead have a link to a Thickbox! I think it would be neeeeaaaaat! =)
