Joomla Translation (JTrans Pro) Component
Excellent! Big Bang for Little Buck, October 19, 2007
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

Joomla Translation (JTrans Pro) Component Easy to install and configure, works very well. My users and clients are very happy with it.

OF COURSE the translations are not perfect, but if your content is good, the translation will allow 90% or so of your information to come through, and that is usually enough.

Great component, and excellent support.

SmoothGallery + Lightbox Joomla Mambot Ajax
Works, Pretty, No Flash needed, March 25, 2007

SmoothGallery + Lightbox Joomla Mambot Ajax Simple to install, just works.

Lots of configuration options for when you want more control...

If you have dumb things that you shouldn't have anyway, like spaces in folder or filenames, you will get errors, but that's not the mambot's fault.

CPanel Mail
 GREAT!, February 24, 2007

Trivially simple to install. Just plain works.

Notes: Domain is the fully qualified, http://sitename.com.
And, if your install is in a subdirectory, you need to fill in the domain.

Can this be extended to start a CRM system within Joomla? Same basic question as the reviewer above.

Thanks,
Ken

Jom Comment
Excellent- Easy, just works., February 13, 2007

Jom Comment Easy to install, works great,
can moderate comments,
can restrict to registered only,
integrates with MyBlog, which I think is the best blog component.

My Blog
Good, Promising...may already be best, February 8, 2007
1 of 2 people find this review helpful:

My Blog Nice. Works well. Easy to install. JomComment is easy and functional, and one click to integrate.

Yeah, would be nice if blog entry happened in the site, not a separate tab or window, but so what.

This is much nicer than trying to teach a novice blogger how to create articles in the back end.

Looking forward to trying the CB integration.

May already be the best Blog component.

Content Calendar
Does what it says..., February 8, 2007

Content Calendar Does what it says.

If you have J installed in a subdir, you will need the patch files in this thread http://www.archaicbinary.net/forum/topic,31.0/

Looks like some nice display config options, but haven't gotten into those yet....

Acajoom News
 Best Available, August 6, 2006
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

Acajoom News Chris brought out 1.01 within a week of the 1.0 launch. I think it's the best list management component available. The main thing I like is the "auto-subscribe" at registration, including Community Builder registration. Recommended, and expected to continue improving...
