I think that the option to choose whether to have a CB based community or IDoBlog community is something that admins only can decide, and it would be nice of IDoBlog developers to release at least a simple plugin to connect CB profiles to their latest Blog entries.

Im now understanding all the competition and why the developer refuses to make a CB plugin (check discussion on IDoBlog website)
CB is a way more advanced component at the moment and it will be even more with the new version, so why not using it for now?
In the meantime, IDoBlog could develop their own community component, but it will take time, and Im afraid that for now a CB plugin would be a much better option, and would definitely attract more people to it.

I rate it excellent anyway. It is a great extension.

This is a very interesting addon, but I wont use it until a plugin for CB 1.1 and 1.2 will come out with it.
I think you should really think about making a plugin for CB, so that every user can put in their personal social profile links/or just nicknames.

Is there in a future developement, something to let users in a Community Builder environment, add their blog too?

Would also be useful to make the author appear, and to autocreate a category, for every new user that decides to put up their blog, with an archive column on the side for old posts.

Also, from the author name, a link to their CB would look good (with related tab in CB), and a thumbnail of their profile picture.

I think that, despite the fact I like the extension simplicity, there should be given the option to use an editor, from the ones installed in Joomla already.
Just in case users dont know html tags.

I find this extension awesome!
Install takes a few sec, works flawlessy.

The contact list needs some more developement such as:
- Blocked status icons actually showing next to blocked contacts
- CSS editable through admin back-end
- Absolute need of the this extension to show msn contact groups (with expandibility option), and not just contacts in random order: if an user has >200 contacts, its too hard to find each contact

Hi, I'm trying the feature and I like it.

If I can suggest a few things that I'd like to see developed in future versions:

- the module block needs to be editable via back-end (not by manually editing the css), with the possibility to add Advanced Parameter such as Module class suffix "_menu", to match website template blocks; select height of module block, scrolling, etc.
- the contacts icons dont change if contacts are blocked, they just show their online status, but i testet whether the system could identify blocked users anyway, and it worked as my blocked contacts couldnt see me and couldnt receive my msg, so its just about getting to show the blocked icon next to blocked contacts
- it would be really useful to also be able to see contact groups, as if someone has over 200 contacts, and the groups are not showing, all contacts will be displayed in random order, making it really hard to find the people you want

Im very happy with this module anyway, its an awesome idea, keep up the good job and thank you!!! :)
