Extension Icons - Quick links
Really makes your life easier, May 14, 2007

Extension Icons - Quick links It is another backend musthave for the admins. You can spare a lot of time and clicks by placing the quick icon to the header position especially for the components which are listed by clicking the "More Components..." item in the Components menu. Its more advantage is that there is no need for the special quick icon modules which were released recently.

As it detects your installed components with their menu items, it is extemely easy to use.

Yet another good reason for the extension authors to provide a unique icon for their components.

CQI - CustomQuickIcons
Better than ever, April 13, 2007

CQI - CustomQuickIcons This new version is better than ever. ^5

Much easier to use for a new user, because you just have to select the desired component from the drop down list and press the arrow button and specify the additional details.

Jom Comment
Comments with syndication - splendid idea!, September 21, 2006

Jom Comment I've been following up the development of JomComment for a while, and I make bold to say it changed a lot and I am sure it will be, because it is developed continuously. The back-end interface was exhaustively reorganized, and I discovered some new features in the front-end as well. I liked it quickly because in the era of syndication the RSS feed feature for each content item makes easy the users to bring the new comments to their desktops.

Have you ever tested a comment system clicking the Print icon of a content item? And have you noticed that the comment form is visible on that page? Funny, isn't it??? Don't worry, there is no comment form when using JomComment :)

It's so cool that it can be easily integrated with 3PD extensions. For instance, I use it with the Bookmarks component on my site.

Bookmarks
It can compare with the commercial components, July 22, 2006

Bookmarks If you would provide a web link directory for your visitors on your site, I make bold to say Bookmarks is the best choose for you - it can compare with the commercial components in its category. It can fetch the meta description of the added link, one link can be stored in several categories. From v2.7_1s Beta it can obtain Google PageRank. The links can be rated and recommended by the users. I got surprised at the multifunctional module system: Copies of just one module needed to display the stats, the latest additions, the top rated bookmarks depending on your settings.

Its usage a bit complicated: it would spare some time for its users if it fetched the title, the description and the keywords by one click, what the user would modify when necessary.

Just one feature missing, July 21, 2006

The module is great, but I think it was complete if the visited site would be set as the home page of the browser, so next run the browser would be launched with this newly set site.
