Chrono Calendar
Not what I expected, but still pretty cool..., July 17, 2008

Chrono Calendar I was actually looking for something interactive that allowed adding dates and displaying the calendar, even by the year. I guess I misunderstood what this module does.

It is really only a reference of the current date and time, much like your clock that hangs on the wall at home. It doesn't keep track of anything for you, or provide anyone with any info on specific dates and such.

However, event though it is not the interactive caledar I was looking for, I dug it and decided to leave it on my site anyway as "fluff". It looks pretty cool and dresses up the site.

If you're looking for a groovy little do-hicky to add to your site, I think you'll like this module.

Page Peel Banner
 Won't Work..., May 8, 2008

Page Peel Banner It seems like a great idea, but it just won't work for my site. I've looked everywhere to see if it has something to do with the fact that I'm using Joomla 1.0.12, but I haven't found a note on its compatibility with that version of Joomla.

Besides that, I do as the vids and forums tell me, but I get nothing. The only thing I'm able to get it to do is to show the 500x500 image, but that comes up in the module position for the regular "banner" position. It doesn't show as a flash animation in the upper corner, as it should.

It also seems to completely negate any other banners I use for the "banner" position.
