ChronoForms
 Perfection!, February 4, 2008

ChronoForms I'd been using FacileForms and later Forme and although Facile forms is a top-notch component, creating forms and aligning the elements take quite some work (and time). Today i decided to look at ChronoForms and it installed smoothly into my 1.5 Stable installation and boy did it impress me!

It has everything I need and works superbly well. Knock up a form in Dreamweaver or Frontpage and pop it into ChronoForms and you're done! Its as easy at that! Superb work!

sh404SEF
Doesn't get any better than this!, August 18, 2007

sh404SEF I've had my eye on sh404SEF for sometime now having published amy previous 5 sites with OpenSEF. I'd been considering the switch but resisted until until the Beta Q... From the getgo its been a very smooth and painless switch and one that i'm very pleased to have made. The new sites run consistently well with only a few extensions giving some minor problems (under beta S) but i've skipped them.

If you have a site (like i do) with extensions that simply won't run with the native joomla SEF enabled and since there's no way to selectively switch off SEF for extensions in joomla 1.1.x then sh404 can be a perfect fit for you also...

CMS Realty
Can leap tall buildings in a single bound, June 23, 2007

i've been running a real estate site for a few years now having started with a hand-coded CGI site then migrating it to joomla a year and a half back. it was a great move and although i found mostly what i needed in the real estate scripts here on joomla.org, i unfortunately had to leave behind some of the features i'd built into my hand-coded site (tho in fairness i gained a whole lot more).

however, i'm one of those always looking for better ways of doing things and when i recently had to setup an openrealty site for a family member it came into sharp focus what i was missing on my site... that is until i rememberd CMS Realty!

its been some work getting this powerhouse combination to live together (joomal+openrealty) and CMS Realty has pulled it off magnificently! sure there are issues during install but thanks to a great help of Mark Smith over at the open-realty forums, its doable and it works exactly as he prescribes. thanks mark!!!!

this combination has simply no equal. *nothing* i've seen comes close to this if you're running a real estate website in joomla but then again that's just my humble opinion, i could be wrong... :) now if only we could get someone to integrate activecampaign's newsletter program...

MosIf
Extremely useful bit of code!, June 17, 2007

I'd been looking for a solution and this fit my bill exactly! I had a graphic being displayed inviting people to join my site but after someone logs in, i had to way of removing the graphic! so members were signed in and still being invited to join :-( Mosif changed all that... its exactly what the doctor ordered!

Frontpage Slideshow
 Superb work, January 31, 2007

Frontpage Slideshow I've been looking at the FPSS extension since it was released and although i saw other extensions offering similar features, none displayed the simple yet sophisticated approach that i was looking for as did FPSS.

I must confess that i had problems incorporating it into my layout on the frontpage since there were no module positions in my template that were available to allow me to place it where i wanted to see it but the technical support corrected that issue for me in short order! It works perfectly in IE6, IE7, Firefox 2 and Opera 9.

Joomlaworks tech support even gave advice as to what editors i could use to help reduce some bloated HTML code they noticed while looking at my site. All this at no extra cost.

Overall its been an excellent extension coupled with excellent support! Two thumbs up.

Website Validators Tool
 Great Tool!, December 8, 2006

Website Validators Tool Installed in seconds and provided top notch information! No one serious about their website's validation, size reports and such should be without this...!

FlexAdvert
 Great work!, September 23, 2006

I'm delighted that Matthew has decided to do some work on this vital area that seems to otherwise have remained somewhat neglected. Its an excellent piece of work and although not yet feature-rich it surely does the job!

Installation was a breeze but I pulled my hair out (almost) when my first banner was not diaplaying! Turned out that i didn't select the Location in the banner manager even tho i had set it up and the location was displayed in the text box.

I look forward to further updates to this great utility!

Acajoom News
nothing even comes close, August 15, 2006

Acajoom News i've been using newsletter managers long before i was introduced to joomla! and i've tried just about all the newsletters managers out there (save a few) and this is the very best i've seen by leaps and bounds. i even run expensive standalone managers on other non-joomla sites i've developed and this will run with the best of them.

my installation and first newsletter went so smoothly i was simply amazed. i had only one minor problem with the read stats not appearing in the admin but i'm sure this will be addressed very soon.

i recommend this highly and plan to add my financial contribution to this great piece of work!
