SWmenuFree
awesome wee tool, October 2, 2008

SWmenuFree Thanks for this Sean

One mistake I made was over-zealously clicking the 'save' button, though; for some reason it created another SWmenu module, which of course conflicted and gave me fatal PHP errors. Easy enough to fix, just had to turn one off in the Module Manager, but thought I should mention it anyway in case anyone else does the same by mistake!

Thanks again though

swMenuMaker
great tool, and it's now standard for me, October 2, 2008

swMenuMaker i'll be putting this in every Joomla site I work on, it's really well put together and works perfectly!

Thanks for releasing this, much appreciated.

Ozio Gallery
 Awesome!, June 8, 2008

Ozio Gallery Nice and easy, took approximately 43 seconds to get it running. Whoo!

Like someone else said it would be nice to have the FLA file, but since the actual tiltviewer itself is from these guys- http://www.airtightinteractive.com/projects/tiltviewer/
-and they also want to sell the Pro version without the logo, well, I can't really complain.

Nice one!

JooBlog
now this one worked right., May 29, 2008

It's not perfect, but works well so far.

Would be nice to have the same front-end access that iDoBlog has, but it's a lot easier to set up then that.

Also, I created new classes in my existing CSS before seeing that it had it's own empty CSS ready to be filled. (It's hard doing these things without the documentation!)

Also- the RSS icon that comes with the install is a .gif, but the page is trying to pull in a PNG-- i saved it as rss_icon.png and now it comes up. Might wanna fix that one.

All up though, very nice.

IDoBlog
Almost worked well...., May 29, 2008
0 of 4 people find this review helpful:

IDoBlog I installed, set it up, created users, made a page, everything worked fine.. until I went to write the first blog entry. Wrote the entry, saved it, then I end up straight on an error page saying:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JFactory::getdate() in /home/________/public_html/components/com_idoblog/models/idoblog.php on line 225

...Now I just get this message instead of the Blog page when i follow the menu link, whether i'm logged in or not.

I've uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted the folder with FTP, I even went into the DB with PHPMyAdmin and deleted the idoBlog databases there... and it still won't reinstall properly. I can't even get back to the stage I was at before!

As much as I hate giving bad reviews to free software, I gotta rate this badly because I've wasted 5 hours trying to get it working.. and now I'm just angry.
