IDoBlog
 Errors ..., June 5, 2008

IDoBlog This thing isn't very compatible with Internet Explorer ... I get multiple ieframe errors followed by a blank page. It does work in Firefox and Opera.

MyJSpace
 Buggy ..., June 5, 2008

MyJSpace Installation went well, however the "Rename" function not working; and the links to the pages not working in the list module (error page comes up).

Not allowing spaces in the page name really bites. No categories for pages; no search function/plugin for pages; the editor defaults to TinyMCE and no way to change it and does not conform to the chosen editor under global configuration in Joomla (I have another editor for my users). Having a single list of pages in the list module is a very bad idea if you have more than 50 users/members ... need I go on.

This is a great idea that hasn't been improved upon for a few years now. Really lacking some basic features that would make this thing worthwhile.

Tabs Manager GK1
 Nice idea ... but ..., June 1, 2008

Tabs Manager GK1 What isn't said in the description is that - it simply duplicates modules or the content that is ALREADY published into EXSISTING Template Positions. Meaning - this is worthless if you don't have a template with EXTRA Module Positions that are NOT displayed on the frontpage - and it seems that 99% of the templates do not have these extra positions ... even most professional ones. But because I like the idea of the Manager and being able to have multiple instances of the TabMods, I went in and added the extra Template Positions myself (very easy to do by-the-way ... I love Jooomla), but then I ran into a CSS nightmare when the "Module Class Suffix" field on the backend didn't seem to work properly, due to the fact that the extra module position had no CSS classes specified I could get thing to look correct and readable etc ... The Bottom line here is ... if you want this thing to work then you're gonna have to do some work too.

 Not Working ..., May 30, 2008

I just downloaded the latest button for J!1.5 ... I've tried all the various settings and combinations ... could NOT get it to work on a clean installed site with virtually NO extensions installed yet. This is a great little button and it worked under J! 1.x.

phpbb 3 last topics module
 No Wrapper Support ..., May 29, 2008

This is a nice module, however, it's links doesn't support phpBB3 in a "Joomla Wrapper". The links open phpBB3 in "Unwrapped" view only.

Protos phpBB3 Latest Topics Module
Causes error in other news modules, but ..., May 29, 2008

Protos phpBB3 Latest Topics Module When I enabled the module I get "Path Errors" in my frontpage core news modules (Latest and Popular). But, I like the module and am still giving it a try, just not on the frontpage.

Also, here is an FYI: make sure you have the "whole" server path entered into the module starting from the "username/home/public_html/phpbb3".
