Bookmarks Really great component, they could easily start charging for this little gem. the site image capture works great throug the provided services, plenty of mod options for working with it... really impressive.

Jom Comment
works great, could use a module..., November 29, 2006

Jom Comment Installed and it worked the first time with no trouble on a fairly complicated site. Plays well with ijoomla magazine.

The templats all seem to be a bit bulky and look clunky at the bottom of a post, but the hide feature makes it not so obtrusive.

It looks like a lot of poeple are trying to use it to do a site guest book, it would be nice if they made a module or two to accompany the component for that purpose. having a latest comments module would be nice as well...

Community Builder
Its the best thing out there..., November 29, 2006

Community Builder Community builder is pretty great for making a mini-myspace community site. It also offers many new options for interacting with other plugins and components. Hopefully it will become the hub for all personal component ties and developers will always make a cb plug when they make thier component.

I would not mind paying for this component if it ment the development would speed up. Myspace is a pile of crap and there is no reason why there should not be a viable opensource alternative...

I would really like to see a comprehensive CRM and groupware add on!

Phil Taylor's Phil-A-Form for Joomla 1.0.x
 e-mail attachments and easy..., November 29, 2006

Phil Taylor's Phil-A-Form for Joomla 1.0.x I tried basic form tools, but they always left me wanting more options. I tried facile forms, but it seemed overly complicated, designing a layout was tedious, and there was no way to get an uploaded file to attach to an e-mail. Hunted around the forums for a while and found a bunch of other people with the same problem.

Phil-a-form works great for me, and the option to bind forms to a table offers the same backend functionality of facile forms. Great product!

Thyme
Pretty Darn Sweet!, August 24, 2006

Thyme This is the grand mother of calendar and event components! It really is not fair to compair it to the rest of the available joomla extensions, its a complete forum / community site in and of itself... it just happens to integrate perfectly and extensibly with joomla. And everything that everyone is saying about support, its so true. Its a bit more complicated to setup than most components, but Ian took care of all my problems via e-mail and even offered to log into my web host for me to setup the necessary cronjob for automatic e-mail notices. That's Support!
