Almond Classifieds Component for Joomla!
 Great Component!, July 8, 2008

I'm very happy with this component and very pleased with the great and very timely support that Bo has provided.

The administrative backend is pretty straight forward and various options, category changes, etc. are easily changed through the control panel.

Here are just some of the features available in the Almond Classifieds component:

- Ad moderating and spam guard
- Highlighted ad option for paid ads
- Privacy mail option for ad submitters
- Photo inclusion in ads with administrative control over the number and size of photos appearing in ads
- Can run a fee-based or free ad site with this component. (I'm running a free ad site so can't comment in detail about the paid ad option, so if you have questions, ask the developer or see his website.)
- Thorough ad submission form options with ability to customize the form by creating your own option set(s.
- Easily editable categories

Overall, this has been an excellent solution for my website.

JFusion -> Universal User Integration
 Pinch me, I must be dreaming!, July 2, 2008

JFusion -> Universal User Integration Several months ago I struggled with integrating a forum into Joomla with a bridge. I spent hours and hours and finally weeks trying to achieve a seamless integration but it never came out right and one thing or another was always wrong or didn't work the way it should have. In disgust, I gave up vowed to never bother integrating a forum again.

Then along came JFusion! It took me all of about an hour to install and make the integration functional, and the results are absolutely amazing! Perfect! And I didn't bang my head on my desk at all today while doing it. I can't say enough great things about JFusion and the folks behind it.
