JoomlaStats
Very useful, September 5, 2006 |

I think I tried them all, and did uninsall TFS because of fears that the DB would get too big, but have finally settled on this. I like the intergration a lot, and while I would like to see some more development, I do believe this extension serves me the best of all the stats/counter products. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more development, especially in DB management, robot/bot reporting and module enhancements. Thanks !!

Letterman Newsletter Component
I really wanted this to work, September 5, 2006 |
But, it won't send the validation email. Won't do it for php mail or smtp. After spending a hour in the code, I gave up. What was funny was that although it would not send the validation email, it would register the new subscriber.

Acajoom News
Sends garbled validation email, September 5, 2006 |
And also, I could not edit an existing newsletter. It has promise, but after 2 fresh installs on a week old 1.0.11 setup, I gave up. I hope these issues are fixed & I'll try again.

Jom Comment
Excellent Product, September 4, 2006 |
I'd used AKOComment for some time, but have now gone the Jom Comment route. It's a very solid, configurable product that just installs and works. The module is a very nice addon and I hope maybe the future holds continuing development for modules and maybe even incorporating a rating or vote function. But, make no mistake, this is a professional grade product that looks great, works effortlessly and is a major upgrade for any site that uses content that provokes thought and response from users. Thanks !!
