The easiest thing..!, September 22, 2006 |

For me this module along with the bot is probably the easiest audio related thing I have ever come across.
Most audio related components, bots and modules require you to set up and modify lots of stuff before they'll (maybe) work, but these two I installed and got running in less than 5 minutes. No hassle at all.
Impressive!
I can absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to add music to their website!
Thanks a lot to the author for this!
Cheers!

Gallery 2 Bridge
Clean and nice component!, July 9, 2006 |

I must say that this bridge is one of the easiest ones to install and use ever. There is an issue with the charchter set yes, but that can easily be resolved.
I use this bridge on my danish website, and actually you don't need a hack or to translate a lot of language files either. Just go to the Gallery FAQ at Wiki4TheWeb, and you will find all the instructions you need.
You can find it here: http://wiki.4theweb.nl/w/Gallery:FAQ
It took me less than two minutes to fix the charset issue using this guide, so don't start using the hacks and other things, as they will only present you with other problems instead.
This component is absolutely recommended, as it will allow you to integrate the best gallery ever made into Joomla! with a minimum of effort!
A superb solution!
Cheers!

Don't risk it..., July 2, 2006 |
Installed the component, and my first experience was, that I couldn't configure it, because "Save" and "Apply" buttons didn't work. That's a bad omen.
So I uninstalled it.
Don't take any chances. If you are gonna try this, try it on a test-installation site first!
Best Regards

It wasn't easy...., June 16, 2006 |
As most other people I had some work to do to make this thing work, but finally I fixed it, and now it's a nice component.
I just wanna say that if you wanna have it working as "it is supposed to" - like normal banners - you have to edit the "mod_icms.php"-file in modules.
On line 331 and 410 you have to add: target=\"_blank\" to the code, right after the "$link" - the calle to the DB.
Otherwise a click on a given banner will lead to the exit of your site. The other website takes over your browser, which is absolutely not desirable.
In other words: you must do this to have the banner-site open in a new window.
Good luck to you all!
:o)
