Header Image Module
Great module even got better, May 31, 2007
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

Header Image Module I've used the previous version of this very useful module, and now the possibilities are extended. In my view, a module like this should be part of the Joomla Core. It adds so much flexibility in your template, I can't do without it! Congratulations to the developer on doing a great job.

Joomnik Gallery
 As promised, November 16, 2006

Joomnik Gallery Joomnik functions as promised. It takes some time to figure out how the hierarchy should be set up. What should be added is a text field with each image and definitely a back button!

Easy Gallery
Needs some reworking, November 16, 2006
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

Easy Gallery I definitely like this component, because it's very simple. That's what i"ve been looking for in all galleries, but haven't found so far. Easy Gallery could have been my favourite solution - but it has some flaws. CSS support would be nice, for instance. But the real problem is that I can't delete any pictures. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the component, all pics that I've removed manually still show up in the list! This might be a MySQL problem.

It's worth trying to solve these issues, since the component certainly looks promising!

 Can't see what's good here, March 15, 2006

I'm sorry, as a designer without too much knowledge about coding, I simply couldn't get this component to work as I wanted. For example, it looks like one can't create subdirectory's in the imagefolder. Also, the publish/unpublish-routine remains in the dark for me. Could do with some basic explanation...

RSGallery2
Excellent gallery component, March 15, 2006

RSGallery2 RSgallery2 is a very useful component, especially because of its full integration with Joomla. Features are sufficient in my view. It could do with a few more comments within the html/php file if you want more customization, though.

I'd certainly recommend it if you're looking for a reasonably fast, easy to use gallery component!

joomlaXplorer
 An absolute must-have, March 15, 2006

joomlaXplorer This is a great tool for the management of your site! No more downloading and uploading to the server through FTP, but edit iin your webform and save it. Done!

In one word: really fabulous. Oops, two words then.

What everyone needs... but far too expensive, March 14, 2006

This is what we've been looking for, just like any other serious webmaster who wants to show his products. But in spite of the Joomla philosophy (free, open source software), the programmer wants to keep it commercial.

Isn't there a clever coder out here who can write a similar product and publish it under GPL license? I for one will be happy to donate a small gift.. but NOT 100 euro's...
