Ricettario 1.03
Front End Editing problems, January 25, 2007

Ricettario 1.03 This is really a nice recipe component, except for one significant issue. Submission of recipes on the front end doesn't really work. First it wouldn't list the categories (which I fixed), but then it insisted on uploading an image, but it always fails. (Others have run into the same problems as noted in the joomla forums, with no solution as of yet.) Entry of recipes in the backend works well, with or without an image.

Mosets Hot Property
Limited, but a good base., January 13, 2007

Mosets Hot Property Hot Properties does have it's limitations. Out of the box it's not well suited to a pay per listing type of site, and it doesn't have any real template system. However, it isn't a bad base for more traditional real estate website, and the code isnt' difficult to modify. With some work it could be a really nice package.

Google Analytics Tracking Module
Simple and flexible., January 9, 2007

Very simple to install and configure. Unlike some others it installs the code where you want it (at the end of the page), uninstalls properly. Plus, if you don't want to track certain portions of your site, it's simple to not load it on those pages.
