Took all of 1 minute to install and publish things. I then hit my site on my laptop and everything looked the same as before. I then logged in using my Treo and the the site was stripped down for faster loading. Now all I have to do is mess with the template a bit to get what I want to show. Very easy to use.

The fact that it brings you out of your site to post is a turn off for me. I couldn't even find a link back to my main site.

Once that gets figured out though, this will be high on my list of must needs for my sites.

Some folks are complaining that this is donationware. This means that you don't get it until you make some sort of donation. Frankly, I wish more utilities were like this. I dropped down 5 bucks and so far I like it. As soon as he fixes the IE bug, I will gladly give him 15 more.

Getting it to work took a little thinking. But it didn't take me too long to figure it out. It now works great. It really cleans up my site and allows me to display more on the front page with out cluttering it up.

It works very well as a basic chat. Here are some of my issues though.
Chat is persistant. Meaning that everything said seems to hang around for a long time so when folks log in, they can read everything that was said prior to them entering the room. I could not see a way to clear the chat.
Must click on the send button to send a message. Small issue but still annoying.
The rotating banner on the home page. I dont want a banner there. No way I can see to get rid of it.
Was goofing around and tried to log in as Steve but then found out that, "steve - this global username is already in use" So I guess my users better have a unique name then.

I am pretty much a nOob when it comes to creating templates and working with "Joomal". But this kit answered a lot of questions and made it easy to put together my own template. Well worth the money. I found the video to be great. Although i understand that you have to stop somewhere, I just kept wishing there was more.
And while the included templates are not the most advanced ones out there, I did find them useful in that I could now take them apart and understand more of what I was doing. I like to go through templates now to get ideas for my own.

No problem installing and it works as designed. Really speeds things up.

I currently have Joomlaboard installed but i was looking around to see what else there might be. I tried to install SMF. What a nightmare. I followed the installation instructions to the letter and could only install it after chmodding every single file to 777. The ftp app the try to get you to use to make it "easy" to chmod the right files would never work.
Once I got it installed it looked great. Until I used this mod to bridge them that is. It changed the style of several areas on my front page and the board itself was now showing up on the front page.
Maybe if i spent more time trying to troubleshoot it, I might have gotten it to work. But I just don't have time to work on something like this when the Joomlaboard does what i need.

Just installed it on 1.0.11 stable and it installed fine. Went to look at it in the com panel and it's all in Polish. Every menu I chose then resulted in an error. This needs to be updated for the latest Joomla I thinks.
