I am a novice "wanna-be" techy that is now using Freeway's shopping to deliver weekly Pilates Mat classes to a new audience. Successfully, I might add!

Yes, the system is complex, it is thorough, does have a bit of learning curve and yes, took some abstract thinking beyond that of Joomla, but it is a very comprehensive system with far more power and functionality than meets the eye.

What a chore the whole update/upgrade/migration process is! Phew!! And for newbie/novice Joomla "wanna-be's" the patience required can be daunting. As one of the official "wanna-be's" I can say this component is the BEST THERE IS!!

The only problem is language translation - you need a little patience if you need/want a list of a-d rules. The recent update to the software provides wonderful selections for all the content extractions from the database.

I tried a few others (including non-Joomla)services and was blown away by the functionality so neatly hidden and delivered (out of the box - no hacks, no corrections, no messy anything) with this "far too much to be FREE!" component + supporting module. Love the Snap.com integration and the various options available for customization.

Highly recommended, too powerful for words to describe. Check it out!

than the rest of you pros who seemingly picked up and ran with it, however, after I realized the error of my ways, actually with little support from the developer, btw :-(); adding a FLV player and using SwishMaxVideo to encode the .swf files (Riva FLV sucks bigtime!) and edited the .php file to make the movies smaller for the site. Now, I wholeheartedly agree it is a monstrously useful tool!

It probably is better to learn by trial and error and thoughts that wake you up in the night with the answer!

Fabulous extension and support from Azrul in helping the newbie (me!) to set it up and use it! As a non-tech, non-programmer, it was very comforting to be able to receive quick response and support for even the simpliest question.
In addition, my community of users (pilates students) know even less (nor do they want complication) so the application's use is phenomenal.
