Event Table Edit
With this component you can create a table in the frontend and administrate it completely from this. The component is multi language in front- and backend. (Till now english.php (Should be improved), german.php, germanf.php, germani.php) So what is the advantage to a normal content table: I had the problem, that at one of my sites users wanted to arrange appointments through a table. Now the big problem was, that everytime when a user didn't leave the article properly it was locked (checked out) and it couldn't be edited by anyone. With Event Table Edit you can avoid this. There is a check in / out, too so there should be no conflicts at editing. But the lock can be overriden so an article isn't locked permanently. Furthermore the component has many useful functions like create new cols / rename them / management of the rows etc. In the backend the user access levels for the different edit functions can be adjusted. Features: *Multilingual *ACL Management. Even set ACLs for single users. *Free editable table *Table completely editable from the frontend *Automatic sorting for rows *Fast table styling from the backend * Filter * BB-Code * Direct linking from an article * Unlimited number of tables New in Version 2.0.0: *Joomla 1.5 nativ compatible *Enhanced ACL *Print view *Usertext before and after table So have fun with the new version
