oWorkflows
oWorkflows is a content validation workflow manager. It is developed by the Osiatis company (www.osiatis.com), witch is proud to offer it to the Joomla! community. Caution, this component is still under development, and is thus presented today in beta version. This component allows the management of validation workflows more sophisticated than those present in Joomla natively. The idea is not to modify the existing publication workflow, but to really add functionality… You can use Groups manager in order to release itself from the native Joomla! rights, and to allow simple members to interact with content workflow. It currently supports : - MBT_GROUP (the ReMository group manager), - GMAccess (ACL Hack v2 and v3), - DocMan groups, - JUGA (Joomla User Group Access), - Joomla native groups And JACL additional groups. Four concepts of groups are used: - The Administrators, who have all the rights of course, (the Joomla super-administrators can be included), - The Owners, who can assign the workflows to contents, - The Actors, who can make evolve/move the workflow state until a final one. - The Viewers, who can follow the workflow evolution. The workflows are defined with transitions which make it possible to pass from a state to another. The states can, and can ask for a single validation (by only one member of the actors groups) or unanimous (by all the members). The idea is to make it possible to the administrators to define workflows, which can-to be affected to contents, either by users belonging to the owner groups or automatically by the system plug-in. Note: Version 0.3.7s correct potential vulnerability found in the plug-ins
