A native Joomla! 1.5 captcha plugin which may be used by other components to implement a captcha mechanism to protect you from spambots. I've tested this plugin with yvComment for Joomla! 1.5. The 'homepage' and 'demo' sites are in portuguese but the component's source code is completely in english.
