Page 6 of 12 Finding Extensions There are verious method of navigating the site, which way you do it would depend on why your there. If your looking for a specific type of extension (an example being a WYSIWYG editor) you could navigate via the categories or alternatively perform a search for "WYSIWYG". If your looking for a specific extension (ie. Mosets Tree) you might also try using the alphabetical listing.For those who are just browsing to see what's out there, listings are available for the most popular, highest rated and feature extensions. Editor's Picks The Editor's Pick are extensions recommended by the editors of the Joomla! Extensions Directory. They have been specifically chosen to be the most effective extensions in each category. Editor's Picks serve as a great value to Joomla! users to spot great extensions from the directory. The editors hope this type of featured listing will also to be a catalyst for the continued development of elegant solutions for Joomla! To reduce biases, the editors of the directory gather feedback from the directory team to suggest and vote for Editor's Pick. There is generally only one Editor's Pick per category so that the main ranking is determined by user votes. Search You can search for an extension via the search box at the top of the page. This will search Extensions by name and description and is the quickest method of finding a specific extension. Browse the Categories The Categories menu is found on the left of the screen. Use it to navigate the directory via categories. The numbers to the right of each title (in grey) are the number of extensions currently listed in that category and its sub-categories.  A second method is to click the "Browse" link in the "Featured Addons" menu. This will present you with the main categories screen from which you can also navigate through the categories. Browse Alphabetically If you think you know the name of the Extension you are wanting, you could also try navigating to it Alphabetically. To do this click the "Browse" link in the "Featured Addons" menu. At the top of the the Categories listing is row of letters A- Z. Click the appropriate letter for the extension you're trying to find.
