This module was VERY easy to set up. Great little toy for your website, especially when visitor locations are important.

This component is nice and free but the problem is with the database: http://www.hostip.info/ which does not contain an exhaustive list of IP addresses and you might have to manually insert your IP (i.e a DHCP IP)
The table jos_geo_visitors includes coordinates in the geoLocation attribute but does not register the IP address of the visitor.
If you have problems with an IP you can do the following:
1) Download Google Earth
2) Detect the coordinates of your place. Remember to transform into negative and positive coordinates
3) Edit a jos_geo_visitors entry and indicate manually the coordinates.
4) Display Geo-visitors and confirm that your IP address is properly displayed (Remember about negative and positive coordinates translation)
Cheers, Carlos
