I've been using chronoforms for a few weeks now and just had to come back here to add yet another positive review to the list. All the good things people have written in the reviews below are true. Solid 5 stars.

You *can* use it to make validated forms, emails and data storage with just a few clicks, but it *also* allows you to easily add gobs of your own php and js.

I originally installed it simply because I wanted to have a back-end integrated with joomla for the user -- and didn't want to try and write my own component. I got far more than I expected.

If I had to choose something to nit-pick about, it would be that the size of the edit boxes in the back-end are a bit small if you are writing a lot of code. To get around that I mirror the form code in my regular text editor where I'm happier anyway. I don't think this would be even a concern for most people though, so do not let this minor niggle stop you from installing it.

I think the fact that I had to really stretch there to find something to complain about should say something to you as a prospective user.

Finally, their forum is quite a busy place (another good sign), but Bob and Max are still very quick to respond.

After installing this it took me about half an hour to familiarise my self with it but once i figured it out then i got straight onto building a form and setting it up. I created a feedback form for users testing aspects of my site and it worked great.

I would like to add logos and stuff which i think you can do by using the custom thing.

Overall very pleased with it.

I tried a couple of other forms components, but this one just works!

Very easy to build a basic form structure then easy to edit the underlying code to get it just right.

Really, I tested all .. Breezing, RS, Phil Taylor's, JForms, CK, Fabrik and ArtForms .. but ChronoForms is the best. I love it. And the support is excellent and very fast. Perfect.

I'm using CF for years now, and I can say Bravo! to the developer and the forum stuff. Bob and Max will never let you down in the forums in case you need help or not sure how can accomplish something.

And the new version is really very much improved and extended with further plugins.

I was looking for a quick and simple way to put a form on our new Joomla web site. Not knowing what to expect I downloaded and installed without looking at any instructions. I fumbled around with the wizard for a few and I had a form on my site doing exactly what I wanted.

The documentation link here is broken, you may want to go directly to the main website until fixed.

The supporting web site is laid out nice, very professional, I could easily find what I was looking for. The FAQ section was very useful, and I enjoyed the tutorials. I even glanced around the Forums which answered another question I had.

The licensing terms are not bad, quite surprisingly inexpensive. You get the full version, no limits, only if you want to remove the Powered By link at the bottom of the page you need to purchase the inexpensive license.

To sum it up, it’s a great product, good supporting documentation, and they offer great support. Thumbs up all around!

A few things about Chronoforms:

- This is by far the best package I have seen to deal with forms...It is extremely well thought and designed

- The team is so friendly, so knowledgeable and so prompt to help beginner folks like me that I find this one of the key human factors in this difficult world

- Same applies to the entire Joomla community and I'm glad to feel like being part of it at my very low level

I've tried nearly all of the form mods and this is far and away the best. Fully customizable and easy to use. Granted, it takes some time to figure out, but once you do you'll be making forms in a flash. The captcha support and customization alone make this worth while. I can't imagine a better form creator. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

This form generator offers all the posibilities you have dreamed of. The support is very efficient.

My needs : sending emails to more than one recepient with attachements, auto answering, no data storage on the server.

ChronoForms has been a huge asset to creating great forms for our client's sites. I love being able to use my own form code. All the flexibility and functionality of Chronoforms has made it so much easier to get my forms working just as I like within my Joomla sites. Great extension! Its a definite keeper in my collection of extensions that I use over and over again from site to site.

One of the Best form management Component one can find for Joomla 1.5.

I've been using a different form management program (a commercial one) for some time and have always been frustrated with it. This component blows it out of the water. I literally sat, for the first 5 minutes of writing my first form, cursing myself for not finding this software before paying for "the other one". This is good stuff!!!!

Considering I hadn't even touched html code in perhaps a decade, and had never touched php or any other 'newfangled' coding until about five days ago, the fact that I could instantly use Chronoforms to create what the site I'm creating needed says a LOT about "ease of use".

And when I did have a question about whether or not one requested use was even a possibility with the form creator, I had an answer- and step by step tutorial for doing it- in less than a day.

One of the best joomla extensions I have ever used. Easy to set up!! Documentation well written and straight forward!! Download site easy to navigate!! Everything about the product is really excellent. I would highly recommend.

Unfortunately this application is not working for me. I need specific email outcomes generated in order for the email lead to be auto entered into our outlook database in user created forms. Despite it not working for my unique purpose, I have never seen such great support. I used the forums and had quick responses and was even directly contacted by the developer to help assist me and all this without paying a dime... imagine if I actually had a budget to offer these wonderful programmers. Max, thanks a million for your time. I will use Chronoforms in the future and I will be making a donation. I can't imagine why or how this would or couldn't work.

After spending a couple hours in figuring out what does what, this component is truly awesome. Once one figures out how the interface works, its truly a powerful tool. If you are a developer and you want a quick and easy method of creating forms, then this is the tool! You have control over pretty much anything and can do pretty much anything, extremely customizable. If you are a novice web developer, then you dont need to know much to construct a form.

My hat is off to these developers. I have to create a lot of forms under a tight deadline and this tool saved me an all-nighter.

Although, I would make a suggestion. For when you add a form link in any of your menus, there should be some text boxes to allow one to add content to the form in the menu item creation component. I know you can add the HTML manually to the form, but often I am developing Joomla sites and then leaving maintenance to the user... they will struggle if they dont know joomla or web development for that matter.

Chronoforms has saved me untold amounts of work creating forms, connecting form-mailers, and databases. It is so easy to use out of the box, and is well documented with easy to use advanced functions. If you need forms, you need ChronoForms!

Nice component. I enjoy using the Form Wizard and especially the drag-and-drop feature. Although I encountered some minor bugs, I'm impressed with the fast and friendly support of the developers. Nice work...
