Installed like a charm, worked right "out of the box" with no tweaking. Only negative: I'd like to be able to get rid of the bounding box when I want-- a parameter like border=no would do nicely.

But beside that, this is a must have for every toolbox!

Thanks for the review. Have you tried setting the bounding box colour to the same colour as the shadow box?

Installed and everthing works fine in FireFox but in IE6 top border didn't show.

Have separate stylesheet for IE to solve other formatting problems and added:-
.wtwshadowboxbot2 {
width:100%;
}

Seems to have done the trick for me at least!

This issue has been fixed in version 0.6 due for release when this project gets moved to the new forge. The Joomla team say this will be before the end of the month (April).
This type of IE6 problem is rare and version 0.5 works for most templates, glad you were able to use the second named css class in your external stylesheet to target and solve your problem.

Very nice mambot with lots of parameters. I hope the developer will keep up the good work and add more parameters. But so far is is already very good. No problems with installation and display in Firefox en IE 7.

I've installed it and it works just fine in IE7 and FF, but when it comes to IE6 no images added via mosimage nor via JCE show up. Same thing happens with the josquote mambot.

I love it, but unfortunately IE6 is still around, so this bug must be fixed somewhat.

Anyway, as soon as it's fixed I'll reinstall it.

Well done! ;-)

I have setup a test page for this problem, http://www.websthatwork.co.uk/shadow-box.
It works in my IE6. Use my Discussion tab over at the Forge so we can get this sorted out. http://forge.joomla.org/sf/discussion/do/listForums/projects.wtw_shadow_box/discussion

I agree this is useful and probably belongs in every toolbox. A couple of things to watch for. The default installation sets 'Echo/Repeat Text' to on, which took me a while to track down as that setting is not normal to me. And the 'Shadow Box margins' default to only two attributes when you can use four.

Lastly, it would be more useful if the front-end tag attributes included all those of the back-end.

Please keep up the good work!

Margins are set as css shorthand 2px 4px, this is the same as 2px top and bottom, 4px right and left. I am working on adding more to front end, but the next release will be focused on the backend
