Powerful extension. Also a great support. I wanted to put an accept "terms and conditions" box in my form in the Checkbox Group section and that the "terms and conditions" would be a link to the document with those. Support wrote me a line of code to put it in the item section. It worked perfect for my needs. It also integrates perfect with Joomfish. Until now works perfect.

The developer went out of his way to help me implement my form. I was very impressed. The form was easy to install, configure and setup.

I thought this was a very well made product. I was a bit surprised after purchasing and receiving the pro version, it's actually quite a bit different than the standard/lite version that they give away as a trial version.

The product is easy enough to use for almost anyone who is familiar enough with Joomla to create a website in the first place. I really appreciated the Form Layout page, where the individual form elements are simply variables, so you can create your own, 100% custom layout and design of the form using images, css, html, etc. The individual form elements output with unique ID's - so you can style the forms and fields however you wish as well. Any developer or anyone else familiar enough to create their own forms will find it super easy to make the page look however they want.

I liked the tooltips with ChronoForms - and for super basic email forms I would probably suggest Chrono as it does the job well and is free. The real benefit to RSForms, in my opinion, is the Submission Management where it holds submitted info within Joomla as well as emails it to you, and the ability to send Thank You emails upon form completion.

Overall, for the $20 it cost for RSForms, I'm quite happy with the product - I use Joomla 1.5 and had my forms completely built and customized within about an hour with no need for support.

The Customer service was excellent and the form is easy to set up. I did have a question on the Security image and how to set that up, but they automatically set that up for me!!! I love it when I have a question / issue and somebody comes in and does it the right way really fast!!!

After spending lots of money and lots of time trying out other forms creators, I found the solution. THANK YOU! What a lifesaver! Smooth installation, easy to create, easy to configure and design. Everything you need in a form. Insert into modules, articles, no problem! Absolutely beautiful!

Anyone who spend hours and hours ( most of us do ) in front of the computer to figure out extension and read manuals, then search forum for fixes then try to find help - will know how important is to have a little help. And I have been there for over 9 years with various open software various contributions, extensions etc. Still new to joomla but not new. THIS IS first time - when I had support like I had from RSS Form. Simply unreal! guys went extra mile fixed my problem in 1 day. I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when everything work perfectly. This is not only great extension - but support support support is beyond recommendation. And we all know what it means. Worth every penny to buy it. I spend hours countless days to find good extension when found it was glad. Then small problem and here we go..fixed in a day. Unreal! Recommend to everyone even to pros. Small amount to pay for saving time.

I found rsforms pro to be easy to install and easy to use - a better alternative to facile or breezing forms. The after sales support is friendly and effective.

This is a real time saving extension. It's easy to pick up if you have basic programming knowledge. Definitely worth downloading the trial to see how you get on. If you like it, then you can buy it. I've tried others, but this was my preferred form tool.

The lack of simple forms management--or even workarounds--is IMHO one of the most glaringly obvious omissions in Joomla. RSform plugs this gap with a simple-enough, yet highly customizable, approach to forms development.

When I bought RSform pro, I had already purchased Chronoforms. Still the additional functionality that RSforms offers justified that somewhat redundant investment. Moreover, when I wanted to add a simple feature (adding a tag that removed default values on field focus), their support staff responded quickly with exactly the answer I needed.

Great extension. Highly recommended.

I take umbrage with the claim * Extremely easy to use *, because I am an extremely novice user, and after paying, could not get it tow work after hours trying. Had to settle for a lesser Forms program, that did the trick without many "Internal Error" messages.

Shame, because the interface is nice.

No, seriously. I have tried almost all non-commercial form generators, but this is a clear example why a donation for registration saves you a lot of time (and thus earning back the money spend).

WYSIWYG designing, also after you save, test and reopen the form again (which some others don't have).
All features nicely separated in several TABS.

Support ticket response from the developers site is fast (I reported a minor issue with 'low priority', but still got an answer next day by email).

Highly recommended!

I have been trying to play the for-free thing for a long time and I was just fed up with Fabrik's lack of timely J1.5 support.

For $9 USD, this component is worth every penny. Much easy and intuitive!

One thing I didn't really care for was the fact that all the elements' properties reload in the left hand column. With the use of AJAX in the form layout, I would expect them to place the element properties directly below it when editing (after insertion into the layout).

Also note, if you use the 'free-trial' the layout is much different than the Pro version.

I have recently purchased RSform!Pro 1.1.0 rev 17 in order to produce a very simple form. Not being exactly an web developer, I have to say that the product is simple and effective to use and the suport is absolutely great.
Congratulations to both the RSJoomla development and support team, you have done a great job.

No doubt this extension works well for many people, but I had a few issues. First, I found the interface less than intuitive, with an approach that sometimes seems code-oriented and other times to use a fill-in-the-fields approach. The issue is that it is difficult to know when to do which: one is left with the impression that the authors simply revert to code when faced with a tough formatting issue. Second, figuring out what code to use where is a challenge: try finding out how to line up a set of radio buttons -- yes, it's documented but not where one would expect and with less-than-clear instructions for non-coders. Third, the interface seems to assume that all forms are simple forms with small amounts of text; my first try, with complex instructions, was turned into hash.

To be fair, I did not spend a lot of time trying to figure things out. With other choices that seem simpler to use, it just did not seem worth the effort to search for solutions. Your mileage may vary.

This is great stuff. Got the pro-version up and running with a few clicks. A must have if you want customized forms with no hassle.

I'm a beginning Joomla! user and I tried the regular RSForm! and found it simple to get installed, up and running. Making the forms and customizing the form items (including the form controls!) and layout was a breeze.

I upgraded to RSForm!Pro and the upgrade customer support provided was simply wonderful. It allowed me to upgrade the files and import current forms extremely quickly; I think start to finish for installation and 3 forms was something like 10 minutes, and I'm not sure it really took that long.

I've used FacileForms and while they are custom friendly, I didn't think they were particularly user friendly. RSForm! was _very_ user friendly. I did find a couple of really minor things left out of the documentation, for example, the documentation didn't tell me if I could or how to have the form sent to more than one person (it does allow that BTW), but a little experimentation settled the question.

I cannot recommend this module strongly enough - inexpensive, user friendly, simple to install and/or upgrade. Customize it to your heart's content - it's easy and quick.

I have tried many of the non-commercial packages, which are great if you know programming, but I don't at present. I finally purchased 2 licenses from RSForms to creates some special forms for my clients. It is easy to use, affordable, very good documentation and great support.

I would recommend RS Form for the novice user.
