Fully configurable, each feed can be configured with different parameters (such as section/category, etc).
New! Feed2post version 2.7.5 Native component for Joomla 1.5 framework.
Demo site available, check it and use: user: demoadmin pass: talemit4- (including the last - )
Demo for joomla 1.5 component, check it at demo2.elcansoftware.com with the same access credentials as stated above.
Feed2post component version 1.8.7 for Joomla 1.0.X branch.
Also available Cronjob to make automated fetches for any of the two versions.

* Negative keywords, if one keyword from this list is found, the post is ignored.

* You can cut the article at any tag by using the cut tag parameter at feed configuration
* Links inside the feed content are opened into a new window and set with nofollow to improve SEO
* Feed url listing can be sorted by clicking the sort options.
* Expiration for each article posted can range from 7 days to 1 year (in predefined steps, selected from a pull down).

Feed2post works awesome. Hoping with developers website updated, that support forum and subscription management will be improved.

I bought it over one year ago for 1.0x. I needed it now on a couple of 1.5.10 installs, so I went to purchase at feed2post.com, but made sure to send a contact mail on both feed2post.com and elcansoftware.com. I was contacted by the developer, Mario, right away and handed my program as an attachment. He explained how a glitch with 2checkout.com was not delivering the software download automatically. He is dropping 2checkout and using alternate methods of payment.
Long story, support is active, the version runs VERY well with 1.5.10, and I immediately loaded 400+ feed articles into the site spread across 4 categories.
I sent some ideas to the dev about the UI, and hope they'll be integrated into the next release.

I paid the $15 for the product and there is no way to download it. I am not getting an response from the admin on the forum or by E-mail. The phone number on the site does not work either.
Not just me. If you look at their forum, other people have had the same problem.

This product is certainly worth every penny - installation was a breeze and using the feed2post is certainly self explanatory... not able to get any response from the support though... company might have went out of business since most of the reviews were from last year - aside from the one post yesterday from JIWANIEC, I'm curious to know how you got in touch with feed2post or elcan software... I haven't been able to reach them for about two weeks...
At any rate, it's a good product and would give it 5 stars if It weren't for the non response issue... they get 4.5 stars...

I have had to move the site over to multiple hosts and many of the components, module and mambots failed during transfer. However, this component has been the most reliable tool set for my sites. Great Job!!!!

Now I can sit down in my rocking chair and take a beer while Feed2post works for me.
This module is amazing! My news site works by itself just change some news when I want and that's it.
The developer answers in time to any question for support. Great support is very important.

This extension work straight away (a refreshing change for me) and does what it says on the tin.
However I find I still need to do quite a bit of editing to my article to get it looking right as any formatting from the RSS item is lost in the transfer. So I have to go back into the article and change fonts, reinsert paragraphs etc.
It also has the annoying habit of listing the entire RSS feed, inserting a Read More break and then listing the whole item again. I suspect this may come from the old way that 1.0 Joomla used to work but it could do with being sorted for 1.5 - perhaps with the option to select how many words or paragraphs to make the Read More break after.

I cannot tell you how happy I am to see this component! This is fast becoming what FeedGator wanted to be when it grew up, which never happened as it was abandoned by its developer. The ability to filter (and negative-filter) is brilliant. Time will tell if it continually downloads articles that have previously been retrieved.
Well begun project! Works straight out of the box and hopefully the dev team will continue to improve it. Will forwarded feature requests as soon as they give us some means of posting feedback. [hint hint] A forum please?

Very, very timesaving extension, but it lacks one feature - feature to filter out needed for posting content via RegExp. And i don't mention filter articles like keywords it do, i mean save in article only those content parts what meets Regular Expression

I am very much satisfied with this component. Simple, nice and does exactly what it promises. It's approach differs from other components, but it is exactly what I was looking for.
Positive things of this component:
- it works fine with non-latin chatacters (I tested cyrillic, works fine with feeds I tested);
- the author issues new releases and answers user's suggestions and requests

This component saved my life, I run a small news site and had to get the news one by one by copying and pasting the content...no more now, and the support helped me to set it up when I got lost..

Great software which just keeps getting better with each release. Good value for money considering what you're getting and is actually better than most Commercial components that cost more.
Support via the forums is good too and minor issues were resolved quickly.

Nice job on this one. Updates are timely and the author sends e-mails with all update information so you never miss anything. Keep up the good work as this could turn into something even more wonderful.

I easyly set up th component, and easyly made it work...
unfortunetly I had Turkish character problem. I'm not a code man so I couldnt say if its a big problem or not, if it can be solved by a magic touch or not...
So the component is just nothing for me... But becouse of its idea and ease of work... I can say well done but need to work just a little more...

Thanks for the reply, this issue has been solved since version 1.2. Also we have upgraded the feature list a lot, including a cronjob to make the work fully automated.
