Rapid Recipe is a fully customizable Recipe Administration Program developed with the Chef or Food and Beverage Professional in Mind. The program was designed so that when your data base grows into a count exceeding 10,000 recipes you will easily be able to organize and administer them.
We have just released Rapid Recipe 1.7.2 this version includes many changes and bug fixes, including a newly Recreated navigation module using mootools.

It is evident by the reviews here that our support is first class, we offer support 7 days a week, and generally reply with in 4 to 6 hours. Jreviews is not our component and do not sell anything in conjunction for it, so I am not sure how to respond to this review.
After downloading the trial within 15 minutes i knew. I have to buy this component.
I hate to use support tickets as they normally don't work. Sending a ticket but receiving a reply....
These guys do response to tickets, and i had several questions. Reply normaly whithin hours. Waiting for over 24 hour? No Way!

This is the first component I ever reviewed and it is because I couldn't be happier with it and the support that came with it. I know nothing about programming, components, modules, etc.. and I am sure I bugged this guys with all my support tickets, but they stayed with me all the way and helped me so much. I bought the component as soon as the trial expired, and I am so glad I found it. I researched and researched turn-key recipe sites and this fantastic component with Joomla beat them all.
This is really a very good extension: easy and well done. The support is great! Rick and Konstantinos have always answered to me and help me when I need.

Fantastic extension. The support provided is fantastic.
I had an issue with the compatibility with sh404sef and within 10 minutes of logging the ticket I had a download link for a fix.

Wonderful solution. Full of functionality. Had a couple small issues being a newbie but Support team responded very quickly.
Food glorious food. Man was I glad I brought this extension to add recipes to my site. It works exactly as the demo site, looks good and has plenty of back-end options. Although I'm never keen on Ticket support Konstantinos and Rick have been really good, and I've never had to wait more than 24hrs for an answer, and as many of us Joomla users know, good support is the key to saving many hours of frustration. Highly recommended.
I wrote the creators of this software stating that I do not register (give out my information and register for a site to download commercial software) before I can even read about the product and know its price. (I looked all over their site for this information)

The entire site can be accessed with out registering, the price of the software is located on the main page, to download a free trial you must register, other then that the entire site is accessible with out registering, so this comment really confuses us.

I have been running an old installation of Rapid Recipe on Joomla 1.0 for several years. I recently upgraded to Joomla 1.5 and had to upgrade my Rapid Recipe component as well. Rick helped me through the process and followed through on seeing that my site was functional in no time. I am also running a second installation of Rapid Recipe on another domain. These guys have a great product and provide the best support. Keep up the great work, Rapid Recipe! Thanks for everything!
I have been evaluating this extension for a bartending site for several weeks now and have found it to be very flexible. I am using it for drink recipes only and it has completely adapted for that purpose.
I have had several questions and a couple of minor issues, that were addressed quickly and skillfully by Rick and Konstantin.
It is a great extension and well worth the small fee.

I decided I wanted to create a recipe website to showcase popular recipes from around the world and came across the rapid recipe plug-in on the joomla official website. I tried the 14 day trial and found it was exactly what I needed to accomplish the job, so decided to purchase the full version.
I am glad to say I have had no problems since purchasing the full version and have had no problems since then, including compatability problems with the joomla template I am using.
I did need some help with various technical issues at the beginning as I am no expert in PHP and was pleasantly surprised with level of support given. The official website provides an excellent ticket support system and you promptly receive a reply. The support team even offer to carry out extra functionality to this extension should you require it at reasonable rates.
I love the recipes administration method employed by this extension and adding YouTube videos to your articles is a breeze.
Also, CSS is easy to implement using their well structured method.
In short, no problems and highly recommended extension.

Rapid Recipe is a great extension. It has a beautiful layout and the back-end is extremely easy to manage. Most will love this component.
I would have given this component 5 stars if it worked with ARTIO SEF, but it does not. It is the only component that I use that has a problem with ARTIO SEF. You lose functionality with the page navigation when you have more than 10 recipes in a specific sub-category. If this were to ever get fixed, I would give this component 10 stars.

I love this recipe manager. I purchased it and was up and running only a few hours later with the component customized the way I wanted it. It has great features that help your site interact with users such as favorites or adding their on recipes. On installing the component it also installs the modules which is even better! Keep up the good work.

I've recently installed this componet on my site and it is a great looking addtion to my website, and my visitors love it. I'm using joomla 1.5.7 and it works great. I had a few very minor things that needed to be fixed and they had it fixed in a day and even did a follow-up to make sure it's working ok! GREAT customer support, GREAT looking design and well though out. You can upload images, video, step by step "how to's" and even rate the recipies with nice looking graphics. The layout is perfect, very neat looking and clean design.

The extension is great.. tons of features like 'add to favorites', 'email to a friend' etc. etc.. even a slick sliding menu system..
And I very rarely, if ever, write poor reviews but we users must know about these things.
When you use this with extension with any template that accesses the mootools of joomla - say a rockettheme or yootheme template with 'moo-styled' menu, sliding submenu modules, or even something as simple as a hover effect.. all of those will NOT work with this extension.
Luckily Rockettheme and Yootheme both code their templates in such a way that these features simply degrade to CSS effects, which is nice.
But, what about the sliding menu that no longer works because of this extension?? How can you navigate from it? You contact support right??

We offer our Software with a free 14-Day trial, to make sure that it is compatible with your site and will fulfill your needs before you make the purchase, during this time we will try every thing within our ability to ensure that our software works within our scope, what we cannot do is guarantee that there will not be any issues with other 3rd party software’s and that is exactly what a template is. We have many clients that use our software and are very happy and I can assure you that they do not use the stock templates that come with Joomla.
We are also in the process looking at a solution to adding support to our Recipe Software that will allow it to function with a template that uses Mootools, keeping in mind the cause effect of this change on all of our existing clients.
Easy to install, easy to set up and easy to add recipes from both front end and back. I had this up and running on chopchoprecipes.com for over a month now and so far I’m very impressed. Spoken to some of the people the now use the site and they are also impressed.
The component itself looks really good and integrates well into my existing site theme and the modules are simple but effective and configurable.
The only thing I have had a slight issue with is the Quick Nav Menu which seems to have a conflict with Java script but doesn’t actually stop the component or any of the modules from working.
