I made an error following installation of this plug-in by not clearing then purging cache from the administrator back-end. However, once cache was cleared then purged, this plug-in worked as described.
It will show additional author articles, even where global or article settings have author set to “hide.”
I gave it five stars and could easily give it ten stars if one modification could be made:
Where Joomla! displays the “Show” author by default on top of an article with or without a date (e.g., Thursday, 15 March 2012 02:43 | Written by Administrator) I would like the current drop down with the words “Our valuable member Administrator has been with us since Monday, 27 February 2012.” Removed.
Where the plug-in displays “Show Other Articles Of This Author” for the clickable drop down, I would instead like the text to show (more) and to be displayed to the right of the “Written by Administrator.”
The end result would be the removal of the two default lines of text, but with the addition the text (more) following the default Joomla!
Text at the top of each article as such: “Thursday, 15 March 2012 02:43 | Written by Administrator (More)” with ONLY the text (more) linkable to the existing drop down of the text.
If the above would be made an option, I would think this could easily be a benefit to the Joomla! core design from opinion. It would also provide an additional compliment the Joomla! core “Readmore.”
Thank you for making this plug-in as it is found useful.

It has been around a month that I first spent some minutes in order to find a plugin that would randonly display other articles at the bottom of some specific article. This plugin does it perfectly. Only improvement is to put a variable in the plugin config in order to remove the collapsed feature of articles_default template (so that we do not need to edit the code).
I really like what this extension offers. It would be nice to have it so that users could disable their email so it couldn't be seen.
Great job.
Great job.
Ercan has created a little magic in this functional blogging extension. It's no fuss, either, just install and go, impossible to mess up.
This is *perfect* for a group blog environment where you want to show other articles written by this author.
With *flair* created with a little Mootools action, Ercan adds a bit of fun to your site. I really enjoy this piece. These are the types of extensions that make a site memorable.
Thanks Ercan!
