If you are looking for something very bare bones, this is it - but be prepared to do some work. The two big work items here are that you have to create all of the thumbnails yourself and that you have to type in the path and filename of each image and each thumbnail. There are no size parameters in the plugin so resizing the display area will need CSS expertise(I'm guessing here - I didn't feel like investing the time to play around with it).
I need my photos and thumbnails the ability to have captions. Otherwise this is what I need. Nice and simple. Please let us know if you plan to add this feature. thanks.
What a time-waster!
Image sizes are fixed and landscape only.
No way to change the sizes in the Joomla plugin, as far as I could see.
Great job. It installs quickly and easily and looks great. The one modification that I made to make it a little easier to use was removed the images from the {phat... tag and instead placed a directory name and optional thumbnail prefix in the tag and modified the code to populate the image and thumbnail list from a glob.

It would be nice to get rid of the separate thumbnail issue altogether through GD, but not relying on GD does make it simple and easy. :)

Thanks again!

Great little extension, just what i was looking for. The only little issues would have to be that it doesn't like mixed picture orientations (e.g. has problems if some pictures are landscape and others are portrait).

It would have to be a killer plugin if it supported captions too.

Finnally a good non-commercial gallery extension. very simplistic display doesnt take over template design!! yaaaa!
but....
you have to manually create your own thumbnails :-( boowho.
Great job anyway keep it going. and oh could you change that whole {phatfusi...bla to something short like {gallery /images....
otherwise i give it 4/5
