This is a great tool to control the login and registration of my site.

XML Validation is solved by removing the ul tags after upload, in default.php

and one more step. division id lostpass is redundant for both name and pass. so simply rename second div id lostpass to lostname.

Tested it on my sight and validates fine.

This is my very first joomla site and my very first addon. I think you guys have done tremendous job!

Also I downloaded the modified php to my desktop should any one want it. Cheers!

Great module - but the template code produces some spurious closing UL tags that make the Joomla page fail XHTML validation (at http://validator.w3.org).
So to fix it (until the developer fixes it), after module installation open the following file in a text editor:
/modules/mod_signallogin/tmpl/default.php
... and find and remove the two closing UL tags (), resaving the file afterwards. This should allow your page to now validate (if that's important to you!).
Hi,
it's amazing how ESSENTIAL this module is going to be for the overall design of my website. I'm focussing on installing an Agora forum in my Joomla site, and so a consistent log-in position is essential for both Joomla and Agora users, and this fits the bill almost perfectly!

The only thing I would change, and this may seem a bit pedantic but my wife is a graphic designer and I'm afraid I'm picking up some of her habits, AND it's an ease of use thing as well, but in the layout of the horizontal logins I'd swap "Forgot your password" and "Forgot your username" around.

At the moment it's a little confusing having them "wonky" with the "forgot" items being under the wrong log-in item. EG: Username is above "Forgot your password".

Also, just a TINY little tweak I'd do visually (if I COULD!!! Blargh CSS is taking a while to learn!) is line up the left edges of the "Forgot" with the actual boxes above.

With these really quite petty caveats, I'll give this 9/10 for ease of use and sheer usefulness in setting up my universal header log-in spot for both all my Joomla pages and Agora forum pages.

Well done! Keep up the great work! It really helps newbies such as myself!

Then don`t use it on IE8-Beta, as it is called Beta, and u can`t expect it to be customised for ie8 yet.

Great little addon for your site, easy customable.
Thanx for this script!

When I view in IE8-Beta, the Login button is located on the Password line and the 'Forgot your password' line is located on the 'Remember Me' line. Then when I login, I am unable to see the Logout button and only the Hi, First is visible. I am using the Vertical orientation mode.

Totally changes the design of the login system. No more using the same old boring login forms.

Thanks for making this!..

Easy to use, love the themes, i really like the module come whit more themes!

Thanks for this great module.!
I find this extension to be really good. Easy to work with, modify, clearly written (relatively easy to figure out how to modify even for a novice (possibly through trial and errors).

I had to modify it to work well on my site in horizontal view.
- To make it shorter, I had to set the height to nothing (as oppose to the default value).
- I've also changed the png images to make them smaller (username/password fields)
- Set the background colour to transparent with irfanview. - Instead of having text for "create account", "forgot username", "forgot password", I've replaced them with png images that made sense (by setting them as background-image for each link).
- I've also set the button (login) background to transparent.

Also found a bug with default.php (show_lostpass appears linked to "remind" call. should have been show_lostname).

My suggestion is to make all the items above configurable through the admin backend.

There's a lot more that can be configurable, thus making this module the module anyone would need. Many other modules are available to replace standard login module, but in the end they all look to add some of the features that really should be all in one module, just highly configurable.

Very easy to install and use.
Wide options and easy configuration settings.
It even comes with 4 themes.

I needed something for my header in this fit perfect!

Thank you

Installs and works great! This will help quite a bit for me to be able to remind my registering users to activate their account.

Great work!
Well done a module that works as advertised and installs and works immediately.

Love the sample templates and created my own in less that 10 minutes.

Excellent work!!

This works right out ouf the box as advertised. Easy and simple installation and configuration. The greatest thing:
It took the style of my rockettheme template. Great!
This should be part of the joomla core installation. ;)

I needed a condensed, horizontal layout for my login. Googled around, found Signal login, 20 minutes later I had a totally CSS customized login module, looking pretty much exactly how I wanted it.

The only little feature I'd like to see is a class on the main div, so we can style a little more specifically for 'login' or 'welcome' mode. I couldn't quite get the formatting so it was how I want it in both modes. Being able to use a class selector would be useful. I've modified my copy of the module PHP to add class="login" or class="welcome".
