Its a very nice tool. If there is some more customizable option like exact pagination etc.. it looks fantastic

Exactly what I needed and was looking for! Swiss Army knife for listing content. Should be part of core Joomla. Thanks very much!
So far so good - some of the language in the options area is not too clear but its better than a lot of the extensions I have worked with. And generally it is doing exactly what I wanted! A fab tool and I agree it ought to be a core feature.
Thanks for it and I hope the component will continue to get support.

sectionEX is great, and I can't believe that its not part of the core joomla installation. It is such a necessary feature which is surprisingly missing from joomla. But thankfully, SectionEX fills that void. Very easy to setup and very stable.
for future additions, maybe sectionEx can add alphabetical listing of articles within a section/category with Alphabetical headings and a bar at the top to jump to the particular alphabet.

Not too much to say here other than it did exactly what I expected, and needed, it to, and it did it easily and without hair pulling. It even has more options than I need, without over-complicating things. I had a minor issue with a CSS bug & IE8, but a quick check on the support forums and an override in my template's CSS file fixed that.

Overall a great extension for creating an index of articles within a section and category.
I would appreciate if there was some way to disable the Article Title sort feature. I want the items in my category list presented in a certain way, and I can find no parameter to turn-off this feature. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.

As others have said, SectionEx does what it says it will do.
Basically, it adds nice versatility to your section layout. As a Joomla! beginner, who's used to working with HTML pages, and doing my own thing, I definitely wanted this.
I wanted more versatility for a blogging page on my site, and this gave it to me.
Thank you!

I went through the hassle of registering here just to write this review (and believe me, it was a hassle using the modem I am using!)
This is by far the best extension I have seen so far. Such a structure should be part of the core.
My only negative with it is that it does not display the "read more" link when you have the introductions. People can still click on the title and access the article that way, but I am a fan of the "read more" link, and I am disappointed to not see it there. I am not sure why this was overlooked.
Otherwise, I think it should be a must have.

Thanks for this great component. I really like it and it's nearest to what I need. Thanks again.

This component is exactly what I was looking for to present my content in a clean, organised and easy to navigate way. Everything was installed and my sections set up and formatted in an evening. I was about to write my own script to display my sections and categories; this does exactly what I had in mind and more besides. I particularly like the expand function - very useful and a great way to present your content in an easily accessible, user-friendly way. Thank you for providing this component, saved me a lot of time.

I have been using SectionEx for a couple of years and felt it was about time that I thanked the Author Robert for his excellent Free menu system. As for the component it works flawlessly and allows you to display a site with lots of articles in a coherent and easy to navigate way.

This saved me a lot of work! All I was looking to do was create a simple FAQ page with all the articles collapsed into one list and SectionEx was the answer. Thanks for your hard work!

This has saved me a lot of hassle with a current website. It took a while to find an extension that did what I want - this one does.
I guess the only thing extra I would like it to do would be to have one long user-orderable list of every article in a section without them listed in their categories. However, this is not a gripe by any means, just a "would like to see" for further versions! Full marks from me - thanks!

Easy to install, and does the job nicely.
My only gripe is concerning the short intro text. I hoped to be able to show the first n words of an article in the collapsible div, but there was no support for that. Either the full article, a short description, or no description (no short description available).
But it turned out to be easy enough to code this, so it now works as I want it to.
Now I just want to use SectionEx to display Weblink categories under the article categories. This might not be so easy...

I have been looking for something like this for like 6 weeks. Thank you so much! Works great. I needed to diplay articles with descriptions and other info somewhere besides the front page. This totally worked for me. I have yet to have any issues. Thanks again!

I found SectionEx extremely useful. It works well, but unfortunately produces lots of validation errors. I wish this would be amended, because it really fills a large gap.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

At last! I have been trying to achieve this kind of structure for ages. I wanted to create a sensible FAQ list and couldn't understand why it wasn't possible. SectionEx works right out of the box, does exactly what it says it will. Thank you!
