a clients site was hacked and the passwords did not work so i used this tool to recover and presto! now all i need to do is secure and repair the site.

This really did thing for me.. I tried it on 3 sites and it ran very well..

Not finding the admin Password is a very uncool feeling. It usually don't happen, but today it did for the first time. It looked like a long and painful way ahead with db backup and reinstallation. Admin recovery 2.0.2 was the best shortcut I ever found. I did what it says in the readme.txt and succeeded immediately! Congratulation Giancarlo. I wish I could find a "donate" button on your website.

Works really well, but not exactly as described. It does not directly recover your admin username and password, but creates a new username and password for your so that you can log in as superadmin and recover your old username and password. This makes a little confusing when it asks you for your admin username and password. It is not asking for the one you are trying to recover, rather put in the new ones you want it to create.

Once you figure out the above bit of confusion, it works really quickly and easily.

Don't worry that the developer's site is in Italian. All you need to know is in the readme.txt in the zip.
